"Rather grand hotel, right in the centre of Loches, which is a beautiful town. Free parking directly outside the hotel. Numerous bars, restaurants and shops within 5 minutes' walk. Excellent stop-over but leave time to explore Loches itself."

"This charming place was perfect for our one night stay on our drive through France. Peaceful and quiet, located in a small village. Pet friendly and amazing breakfast of fresh warm breads, eggs, yogurt, cheese, fruit and much more. We especially enjoyed the local “raisin juice”. We stayed on a Sunday so the restaurant was not open for dinner, but I am sure it is excellent, we will try it next time."

"This is a simple, roadside lodge style hotel. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and spoke some English that supplemented our very basic French. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast (pay extra) was simple but adequate and included a toaster with bread, condiments, scrambled eggs and bacon as well as the usual pastries and yogurts. There is no restaurant at the hotel but there are a number of places to eat within walking distance but don't expect any fine dining. We ate at the Asian 'all you can eat' buffet which was excellent and just 500m away. It was easy to find, just off the main motorway and accepted our dogs for a very small supplement. We will use this hotel again if we are passing. "

"Host was welcoming and accommodating to us. Facilities were great, and property was perfect size for our large group so we could all have nice rooms and large communal space for dining together etc. Lots of plates and cooking equipment etc. "

"Thank you so much Anne for an amazing French Christmas experience thoroughly enjoyed by all. We stayed nearly 2 weeks in the Manoir. Plenty of space for everyone. We ended up having snow on Christmas Day which was a treat. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen! Has absolutely everything you can think of. Made Christmas lunch a breeze!Beds super comfy and warm.We loved the fire place - we spent a lot of time in front of it playing cards. Hitchy the donkey and Napoleon the bull were a great surprise - very friendly animals - Hitchy loved carrots! We would hunt them day each day to say hello!We felt very safe and secure on the estate - didn’t have to lock doors. Easy to get in and out.The area of Monts is really lovely - very picturesque with an old church. Supermarkets and boulangerie very close by. One stop on the train into Tours.Chateau nearby. Just perfect.Thank you again Anne for answering any questions we had so quickly. We really appreciate it. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful Manoir xxx"

"Was für ein besonderer Ort! Die Mühle liegt wunderschön mitten in der Natur – absolut ruhig, umgeben von Vogelgezwitscher und dem sanften Rauschen des Flusses. Die Lage ist einfach märchenhaft, mit einem fantastischen Blick auf die Flusslandschaft, der zu jeder Tageszeit begeistert.Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll, gemütlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und zuhause. Es ist wirklich an alles gedacht, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht – von der gut ausgestatteten Küche bis hin zu kleinen Annehmlichkeiten, die den Aufenthalt perfekt machen.Trotz eher bescheidenem Wetter haben wir unsere Zeit dort in vollen Zügen genossen – besonders die gemütlichen Abende am Kamin waren einfach herrlich! Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert, herzlich und absolut zuverlässig.Wir kommen garantiert wieder – ein echtes Kleinod für alle, die Ruhe, Natur und ein bisschen Magie suchen! "
