「Booked as we had an early flight from East Midlands airport. Owner met us soon after we arrived. Nice room, great comfy bed, very good shower. Advised there was a good restaurant just down the road (15 min walk) which we visited and had a very tasty meal. Left in the morning too early for breakfast, but not host’s fault. Very good nights sleep. Plenty of parking. Road to airport a bit narrow and windy, but we made it in plenty of time. Would recommend.」

「The hotel is above a pub. The room was fine and met expectations given the price. The location is a short walk to the center of town. There is a pay parking lot next to the pub. The pub is nice.」

The staff were delightful, each and every one of them. And the food…omg, the food! So good! We wish we booked more than one night!」

「The view of the dale, valley, mountains and trees is amazing. This hotel sits just by itself but it’s heaven placed! Parking is easy on the street, breaky is included in the price and Sam and the team make you feel at home with good food (it was pie day!), beer and a nice cozy restaurant with a view. Our room was squeaky clean, compact but super comfortable.」

「The room was huge with more than enough space for a seating area as well as a dressing table/coffee station. Tea/coffee provided and hairdryer in room. Bathroom was adequate but dated and some of the seating in the bedroom area was ripped and one of the bedside lights didn’t work. Staff were helpful although it took some time to knowledge us on arrival. They were really helpful when I phoned to make an enquiry prior to arrival.
