Comfortable Getaway with a Responsive Host!

We had a great stay! The house was spacious, comfortable, and a perfect setup for our group. The location was ideal, and communication with the host was excellent—quick, helpful, and very responsive throughout our trip. We really appreciated the extra effort to make sure we had what we needed. Overall, a wonderful experience and we’d absolutely stay again. Thank you for being such a great host!

Not sure why they charge a cleaning fee. It is apparent that the property had not been throughly cleaned or dusted in a long time. The window blinds were just gross. Bed sheets had stains on them. Back patio had not been cleaned in months. Also requiring you to provide a credit card, photo of your driver's license, full name and birthdate as part of the check in is utterly insane. Apparently the owner has never heard of identity theft.

Mostly Good - but third party web site insurance requirement frustrating

It was a middle of the road stay for us. Check in process was the worst part of the experience. Host requires a third party web-site to purchase insurance before providing check in info like the door code. For me that was an unpleasant surprise that I did not see clearly spelled out in the advertisement. I asked to work everything through VRBO directly (told him I wasn't comfortable with a third party site) and host wouldn't budge (citing the "rules", which I found ironic given the VRBO commercial making fun of a competitor service's rules bound host). I spent the better part of a day in the car trying to make the third party site work, Jeff asked me to try different browsers and different phones, which I did, but the site never worked right. Eventually Jeff gave us the check in details, but it was super frustrating.Trying not to let that totally negatively affect our experience, I would say most other things about the property were average or above average. Neighborhood was quiet, house was in OK shape but could use a little TLC. For example, chipped paint in places and couches had a lot of stains. It did have most things we could want to make it live-able as a real house (vs a big hotel room). Back yard was great for our pup, lots of room room to roam. Jeff was reasonably responsive when we sent messages.Would I stay there again? I'd look for something else first, but if nothing else was available at comparable location / price I would choose this home.

Worked for us

Overall met our needs. Minor issues with the property would have made the stay even better:Main level shower is a footed tub shower and quite difficult to manage getting in and out - not recommended for older people who may have difficulty with lifting legs and balance. Not super kid friendly - would suggest having baby gates around fireplace and stairs to downstairs area.

Family friendly park place

This home is perfect for a family wanting to explore the neighborhood park! Huge trail system within a 5 minute walk that leads to different parks. We loved our stay it was perfect for our little family. Communication with the host was excellent and they went above and beyond to make sure our time in CO was perfect!

Great stay!

Met several friends in Colorado for a concert. This place accommodated all of our needs. The house is very nice with several bedrooms and plenty of indoor and outdoor space for all of us to hang out. It was absolutely perfect! Looking to make this an annual tradition!

Wedding Weekend

Good: great neighborhood. Pool and park nearby. Nice toiletries. Bad: Supposed to be a non-smoking VRBO yet hundreds of cigarette butts in a canister on the back porch. Bath tub fill not working. 6 forks for a place that sleeps 12. Keurig coffee malfunctions. Dirty carpets. Ceiling fan that can’t be turned off. Worn/faded furniture. Missing/burned out light bulbs. Mismatched dishes and hodge podge cookware/ supplies. Freezing downstairs.

Ace in the hole from start to finish

Jeff worked me from the very beginning. answering questions and making accommodations to suit our needs. He is flexible and easy to work with. I recommend this vacation rental, but only when we don’t want it :) Great working with you, Jeff!

Great Location

Enjoyed our stay. Very quiet neighborhood with shops and restaurants close by. Loved that there were a few parks within walking distance for my little one. Beds were very comfy, even my older parents commented on the comfiness. Host was very helpful and responsive when we had questions about the property. All cookware and utensils to cook our breakfast in the house was easily found in the kitchen, including lots of different spices and plenty of coffee! Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

Fantastic location, clean house, great stay

The property was clean and well equipped for our stay. Located in a very quiet neighborhood and close to many great attractions this was a perfect spot for a weekend in Denver and the surrounding area!

Convenient Location

I had two weeks of on-site meetings to attend and needed a place close to the office. This location is perfectly situated with easy access for groceries and a variety of restaurants. My husband and dogs stayed with me as well. The park is within walking distance so the pups loved getting out every day, and of course the fenced in backyard made it nice for them as well. I'll definitely be staying here again.
