We are 4.5 hours from Denver. We picked this hotel because of the proximity to where a grandchild would graduate and how nice it looked. Our other grandchildren were so excited to go swimming because the opportunity is rare since we live in a rural area. Imagine how disappointed we all were to learn the pool was closed because of a chemical problem but was assured it would be open the next day. I texted back and forth with the gal at the front desk and it was hinted that it really wasn’t their fault but I thought it was since humans are the ones who mix in the chemicals. So after that and got the girls settled down my husband was going to take a shower and the shampoo and conditioner were empty (mind you he was in the shower). Fresh bottles were brought but really? So to top it off when inquiring about the pool the next morning it wouldn’t be open that day either because of the chemicals. I tried to get a reimbursement for part of the booking and heard nothing back. The room was nice and clean and beds comfy but just couldn’t get over the pool and toiletries problems.
