Xmas stay in Aurora

Location worked great for spending time with family members in Denver area. Grocery store, gas station, restaurants all nearby. Could have used a few more items in the kitchen, as we cooked a full breakfast every morning--sheet pan, good knife, mixing bowl would have been appreciated. We brought additional small space heater after reading other reviews as lower level space got chilly at night--December in Colorado! Overall, very good stay, nice property, helpful owners available to answer any questions.

Great place to get together & relax

This basement apartment is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy a few friends from around the country. The place is cozy, clean, well stocked, & very comfortable! Amune is a very attentive, nice guy who genuinely cares about providing a great place to stay! We all would definitely stay again!

Privacy basement

Property was true to its listing and the space was beautiful. Being in the basement it was loud at times especially on the holiday. We heard talking, running, chairs sliding across floor, etc. The thermostat was upstairs, we let the owner know it was cold and he adjusted. The kitchen is limited so ask what’s available if you want to cook. The bed was very comfortable and my husband slept great every night. There were steps going to the backyard and it was icy and the owner shoveled it for us. This is a good stay and the owner was very accommodating.

Good Stay for Short Time

We came in for a quick weekend wedding. Everything was super. The only disadvantage was...when they cooked upstairs, we could smell everything. I have a very sensitive nose - however, that would not detour me from staying here again. It was spacious, clean and as advertised!!!

Stay was not the best

The heat was controlled by the owner upstairs and was never turned on at night, only during the day when we were gone. We came home one afternoon to our door wide open. The owner had been inside to turn off the bathroom FAN! He was loud upstairs at 8am, sounded like he was moving furniture. The sleep was good but all of this affected my overall experience.

OK stay, but not the "rare find" as advertised on VRBO

Property was clean, and did have a "mountain view", but make no mistake - this is in the middle of a residential suburban area. The mother-in-law suite was in the basement, and had no HVAC controls and no auxiliary heat source - as a result, our unit was chilly and beyond our ability to rectify. The landlord did turn the heat up a little at our request - but due to the basement location I'm sure it was not as warm as the upstairs. The unit could also benefit from a low cost universal remote to replace the two remote controls that did not work well. Overall, an ok stay, but I think with a little more research I could have found a better deal at a hotel or other VRBO when you factor in the cleaning and booking fees.

Perfect!

My husband, our daughter, and I came to Denver to see the Broncos! Everything about this place was perfect. Nice and roomy, a great location. Definitely will be back. Just hoping the Broncos can pull off a win next time!

Great price/quality ratio!

The living room and kitchen open area is great and really beautiful. Bathroom was clean but, as for the bedrooms, could perhaps be upgraded to be at par with the main area. Still a great place for the bucks!

Superb accommodation!

EZ to rent, spotlessly clean, everything we needed was there, nice patio w/ distant Mountain View’s, bright, cheery, roomy, set up with love n care. Would stay here every time. Perfect. Near stores, etc, 20 mins to downtown.

Great stay!

If you are coming to Denver you must stay here. Quiet and the mountain view was great.

Very clean and in order. I would just suggest to have the light bulb in the refrigerator for the next time. God bless you all.

Comfortable, big and bright

Very comfortable furniture, bright and cheery basement apartment with lots of room and natural light. Very close to stores and restaurants. Try the horse track for some weekend fun, only 15 mins away. Would stay again.

Peaceful

We enjoyed our stay very much. Amune and his family were gracious and answered all of our questions, the apartment was comfortable and clean. Everything we needed was there. The view of the mountains from our area was beautiful. We we certainly stay here again if we travel to Denver!

Great experience!

The home was great! Perfect for our group of 4. Roommate style setup allowed each room to have a sense of privacy from the other room. Beautiful living room and dining room setup. Check-in and Check out instructions very clear and easy. The host stocked the unit with plenty of towels and toiletries if you needed extra of anything. The house was a little cold but there was a space heater to help. It was extremely cold in Denver when we visited so that probably contributed. Also, note in the description as this is a walkout-basement unit, and you access it from the outside/side of the house. There are a number of steps you must take to access the home. My cousin was in a CAM boot, and she had to be extra careful as there is no railing to hold onto. Otherwise, I would definitely book this home again. Great experience!

Wonderful!

This was a lovely place to stay. The evenings were a little chilly but overall everything was perfect. The property is downstairs and weather can make it a little slippery so if stairs are not your thing, this would not be the place for you. As such it is a full sized downstairs as my son is 6'5" and had plenty of head room!
