"The Slate is a very unique hotel, built into an old school building! The rooms were VERY small, so keep that in mind. However, for 2 people, it was cozy, and I will take character over size any day. Definitely worth checking out!"

"We booked here because we were going to a concert at Ball Arena. The location was perfect, we hopped on rental scooters and got anywhere we needed downtown the whole weekend. The hotel bar was awesome. The room was spacious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again!"

"Very convenient place to stay for an early morning flight. We really enjoyed the pool and views. Only slight annoyance was we scheduled a room service delivery which was half an hour late, and had to chase with hungry kids! Otherwise a great stay."
