「Mauro was a gracious and welcoming host! The property, although secluded and if driving, is on top of a very winding road, is well appointed with a patio that offers a spectacular view of Lerici. The chalet was quaint as well, located at the bottom of about 50 stairs, making trekking luggage up and down a little challenging, but everything else makes up for that! There is little wi-fi, so if that is a necessity, you may need to provide your own hot spot. 」

「分譲集合住宅の一区画を改装し、B&Bにしたようです。古い建物ですが、区 入れば素晴らしく綺麗です。建物の入り口、区画の入り口、部屋の入り口と３段階の施錠があるので、スタッフ常駐ではないですが、セキュリティは良いのではないかと思います。 １１：３０頃に到着予定の旨、事前連絡をしていましたが、電車が遅れて、レセプション担当のスタッフが居る１２：３０までに到着できなってしまいました。電話でその旨伝えたところ、ルームキーパーが荷物を預かってくれるよう手配してくれました。こちらがちゃんと対応すれば、融通を利かしてくれるようです。 朝食に関しては、パンとコーヒーのみ。私はこれで済ませましたが、プラス€５で他にも付くようです。 ホテルと違い、いろいろルールや制約があります。旅慣れた方にはお勧めですが、至れり尽くせりをご希望の方や英語が苦手な方には向いていないと思います。」

「My wife and I ended up extending our stay here by another 3 nights. Great location - very walkable to the main part of town. The AC kept us cool and the manager was very easy to work with! Highly recommend!」

「The property was quite comfortable. The bed was firm but not hard. It had a refrigerator with a small freezer. The rooms had been well cleaned. I can recommend this place. As in a lot of the places we stayed in Italy, one has to climb a lot of stairs to access the property. 」

「This is a beautiful former monastery high up above Monterosso. You need to contact the hotel in advance to make a shuttle reservation and they will pick you up near the train station. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. Most of the other guests were hikers from the trail between towns. We sat outside at sunset with a glass of wine, admiring the beautiful view.
