"Elk View Inn is our favorite place to stay in the Bighorns. Owners and staff are so courteous, welcoming, and helpful. The bar has a great selection of beverages and really good food and options too (don’t skip the nachos)."

"Wife is traveling with ours dog. She was very pleased with her stay. The bed was very comfy said she slept like a rock. "

"Decent location if on a road trip, all heading towards either spearfish or coming from Yellowstone national park. There are a few takeout places like McDonald that are local. Genuinely, the place is quite dated. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Probably wouldn't recommend or stay here in the future. I've rated this at 2 out of five."

"It says new renovation, but that is a bit misleading. The rooms are newly done over as is the lobby, but it looks like they forgot to do the stairs, hallways, and doors. Did they run out of money? The two front desk ladies were very kind, professional, and helpful. She tried to fix the pool, but to no avail. I’m surprised they don’t have a pool company…so we could not use the pool or hot tub the three nights we were there."
