「I liked that the Acala Hotel was different. From the outside it looked like a typical store front, but when you walk inside you're in the hotel lobby. I used rhe stairs and on each level at the top of the stairs was a seating area. It was somethng different. I was exploring just walking around and at the end of one of the hallways was a balcony with a view of the shops on the street. I would recommend the Alcala Hotel. I will stay there again. Also they have a restaurant with very good food....

「We had a one night stay over in David, just to make bus connections before continuing on our trip around Panama. The hotel was modern, clean, comfortable and cool, once we had the A/C turned on, a refreshing break from the heat of David. The hotel is nicely located near the square and reasonably close to the bus terminal.The attached restaurant was also quite convenient with decent food.」

「The property was good for the price, but it's rather old and the table and chairs were not very comfortable or useful. They had no ice machine. And I had to carry a very heavy suitcase up and down a flight of stairs to get in and out.」
