We appreciated the cheerfulness of the staff, the room, the computer and printer access and the treats in the lobby, which make it seem more like home. I realize it might not be feasible, but I would like to actually control the heater in the room--it seemed to reset itself after a period of time, waking me up in the wee hours of the morning.

We had multiple issues while spending the night at this hotel. We stayed the weekend for Valentines Day, the ONLY reason why we booked a stay at this hotel was because we wanted to have a fireplace for the weekend. The room they gave us; the fireplace did not work. They even had maintenance come up and try to get it started, it never worked. We paid for a room with a fireplace to just not have access to a fireplace. The toilet in the room consistently clogged, to the point that we also had to have maintenance come up with a plunger. The staff was beyond friendly, except for the night time (after 10pm).. desk person She was rude. The breakfast at the hotel was great, and the women running it was stellar. All in all it wasn't a terrible experience. Hotel is old and outdated a bit... I wouldn't book here again, but if a fireplace isn't important to you, this ight work for you.
