"This was a convenient stop for us on our way from Dallas to Colorado located just off US 385. The house is located in the center of Channing with a nice view of horses out the picture windows in the living room.As noted in other reviews, the house is located next to a rail line. We knew this going in but the trains came through at all hours of the night and sounded a horn due to the nearby intersection.Overall the house was fairly clean but it needs a deep clean to be rated higher. "There were 3 double beds and one large bed so high you needed a provided step to get into it. Lots of extra linens. We were surprised to find tthe closets full of clothes. 2 bathrooms. Kitchen had all you could need. There are 2 steps from dining area to living room."
