The best hotel in Hoi An

Great service. Staff paid amazing attention to detail and always made sure we were comfortable. Always was super helpful with recommendations as well. Couldn’t ask for more.

Hotellet ligger inte i gamla stan men på promenadavstånd därifrån. Lugnt och skönt. Otroligt hjälpsam och vänlig personal. Mycket bra frukost, trevligt poolområde och sköna sängar.

Det helt rette valg af hotel i skønne Hoi An!

Vi havde 4 dage i Hoi An og boede alle nætter på Odyssey - det var det helt rette hotel for os! Perfekt beliggenhed i gåafstand til den gamle bydel, gratis udlån af cykler og lækker morgenmads buffet med udsigt til poolen. Personalet er så venlige og altid klar til at hjælpe med hvad som helst :-) Stor anbefaling herfra!

Très légèrement éloigné du centre ville Accès facile à la vieille ville (10-15min a pied) mais l'hôtel est donc au calme. Petit déjeuner complet mais pas très bon.Chambre spacieuse.

Le lieu est calme. L’hôtel est un peu en dehors du centre mais à seulement 15min à pied ou bien à 5 min en vélo. Les vélos sont gracieusement prêtés par l’hôtel. Le personnel est attentionné et au petit soins avec tout le monde. La nourriture est excellente. Nous y sommes allés en couple. Si vous désirer faire un séjour à Hoi An, nous vous conseillons vivement cette hôtel.

Great quiet location. Close to the ancient city which is walkable. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the city and the beach which is great. Breakfast varied and plentiful. Had an evening meal at the hotel which was great and a good price. Staff all lovely and helpful. Would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay and reasonably priced.

Hidden Gem

We enjoyed a very lovely stay at the Odyssey Hotel. It may be the best kept secret in the area with the location just a short walk over the bridge from Old Town and tucked away at the end of a quiet street. The entire staff was so welcoming and extremely helpful in assisting us with tours, shuttle service, tailors, laundry, you name it - there was nothing that the front desk couldn't do to assist. It made our short trip in the area even more wonderful. The staff were especially kind and thoughtful in helping us celebrate my husband's birthday. The rooms are so spacious, spotless, and have so much natural light. Very comfortable stay and by far one of, if not the, top places we have stayed at during our month of travels. Thank you so much for a terrific stay!

This property has a great location as it is only a couple minute motorbike ride to old town, but has the advantage of being ever so slightly removed from the congestion of Old Town. The rooms are quite new and modern yet maintain provincial Vietnamese charm. As I stepped out onto my balcony I overlooked and the Thu Bon River, and an undeveloped marsh. Staff more than helpful. Motorbikes were easy to rent (there’s a place directly neighboring the hotel). I would definitely return to this property when venturing to Hoi An in the future.

Great location. Amazing nature sounds at night

The location is awesome! It is in front of a field by the river. The sound of nature at night is amazing. Definitely get a room at the front with balcony. We could see water buffaloes from our room. Pool is great. Breakfast is great and the lady that was serving s every morning even remember our choices. Great cold milk chocolate! The bikes are great to use, as it is very close to the old town, and is an easy city to cycle. Definitively use their bikes! The only thing I didn't like is that the lift was always dirty with finger marks and sweaty backs!

While it is not actually a beachfront property, river or ocean, it is a wonderfully friendly, clean hotel. It is just far enough away from the bustle of Hoi An to be a bit of a retreat. Free bicycles make it a 5 minute trip to the old.city... as well as free shuttles to and from town and a lovely sand beach. Great food. Incredible service.

The rooms are lovely, clean and feel brand new. I stayed 5 nights here and was super comfortable, breakfast had good choice so you could change it up if you felt like it, although I enjoyed pancakes and fruit and a sweet vietnamese coffee everyday. Anyway, so far so good. But what makes this hotel excellent? The staff. The girls and guys at reception were so friendly and helpful and really went above and beyond for me. I can't thank them enough, I truly looked forward to coming down and chatting to them about my day ahead every morning! Thank you!

Fantastic hotel - we had a large honeymoon suite room - service from all staff was excellent during our 7 day stay - used the free minibus to the hidden beach and the bikes to explore the paddy fields around Hoi An - walked into town every evening only 10 mins to the market area. Pool area great for relaxing dip and drinks late afternoon - would stay again if returning to Hoi An -

Very good hotel, but with loud roosters at night

The room is clean, tidy and in good condition. The hotel staff are helpful and cheerful (which is not always the case in Vietnam). The only issue is that the roosters were crowing all night. If you stay at the cheapest room, you will probably hear it alll night. Luckily I reflected the issue to the reception, and was upgraded to a quieter room for my remaining two nights. Again, DO NOT book the cheapest rooms, since your sleep will very likely be disrupted by the non stop roosters. And they are loud!
