Yes rooms were clean each day and staff were always kind and attentive to all our request.
We enjoyed our stay! The rooms were very large with great service like breakfast, taxi and laundry... In a beautiful location up the hill (San Blas artsy area near the ruins). Thank you!
Hotel is on the Stairs street, so mind your stair walking ability, there is no car access directly to the hotel door. Also there is no elevator.
If you have heavy luggage, the hotel staff and taxi driver from the hotel will help you carrying it.
Breakfast is simple, but nice : eggs, juices, yogurt, breakfast cereal or puffs. Tea always accessible.
Also there is a cafeteria in the lobby with good coffee to purchase.
Rooms are nice, freshly painted. we also had a heater provided at no extra charge to stay warm at night.
Clean, nice lobby area. Spacious room.
Hotel is at the top of many stairs but worth the climb. Beautiful area with many shops. Staff was fantastic and very accommodating
Our stay was excellent the location is great with the street of 7 lambs beautiful and at our doorstep. Lovely rooms and property . Staff was friendly and excellent especially Javier at the front desk . He was so helpful with our check in and tours . Also set up transportation for us he was absolutely the best. The rooms are clean great bedding and the showers nice and hot . I will always stay here again in Cusco . Location is within walking to shops cafes restaurants and plaza de Armas. Beautiful and safe . Wonderful experience!
Mayu Boutique Hotel offered us an exceptional experience during our stay. The room we were allocated was not only spacious but also boasted an impressive view of the city. Each morning, we were greeted with a great breakfast selection that catered to a variety of tastes and dietary needs. The staff at the hotel were consistently kind, helpful, and eager to offer assistance and guidance whenever needed. Based on our wonderful experience, we highly recommend Mayu Boutique Hotel for its excellent value and top-notch service.
Very pretty hotel with comfortable beds and friendly staff. We had the suite with city view and it had panoramic windows, super pretty. If you’re not used to the altitude it can be difficult walking back up the hill from the Plaza de Armas. The only reason I couldn’t give five stars is that I left my AirPods there, and the staff said they weren’t there but on the findmy app they literally are so 😐
The hotel and staff are excellent. It is about 10 minutes walking from Plaza de Armas.
The location itself is one of the must-see alleys in Cusco, Siete Borreguitos, decorated with many plants and wall art.
Highly recommended :-)
Overall our stay here was perfectly good. The staff were attentive and the hotel even arranged an early morning pick up for free from the bus stop. It was also very clean. Unfortunately, it was advertised that the hotel was right on the Plaza de Armas, however it was actually quite a climb up the hill (it was only accessible by stairs, not car). It was quite a distance from the square.

Good hotel for its price. However, keep in consideration that it is located on a steep hill, so you have to hike everyday to your hotel which was not the best after a long day at high altitude. Room was cold, we had to request for a heating unit. Breakfast is included but with limited options. There is no hot water in the hand sink. Hot water only available in Shower. If you are on top floor you can hear the pigeons at night and in the morning. Overall, not bad for its price.
I have so many issues with this hotel. First, the stairs!!! There are so many stairs to get to the hotel in the first place. Do not stay here if you have any luggage or you are not acclimated to the altitude. Second, it wasn’t clean. There were hairs all over the shower, dirt on the beds, and the sheets cleanliness is in question. Third, they only have one key to your room that you have to leave with them if you are going to be gone for the day. The key ring includes the keys to the locked safe-link box. It is inconvenient and seems a bit dangerous. The hotel does not give you towels or rags unless you ask for them and sometimes they are not clean or available. It is very loud, most nights you can hear loud music or people having in the hallways. One day it sounded like they were renovating the room above me at 10 at night. Finally, they lost our reservation and after some in our group had been hiking in the wilderness for seven days and were very sick, they had to wait for them to fix the situation before we could get into a room.
I had just arrived exhausted from 7 days of backpacking on the Inca trail only to find that our room we had reserved was no longer available even though we had confirmed it only a couple days before then. They had to separate us into 2 separate rooms. There were no towels in the room. It was not the cleanest. I found hair on the linens.
There was a lot of miscommunication among staff and I had to explain the situation of them giving our room away to 3 different front desk clerks.
On the second day, I was in my room getting ready to leave when a strange man unlocked the door and barged in. He said he worked there and didn’t know anyone was staying in that room. Again…lack of communication among staff leading to unacceptable behavior.
And lastly, this hotel is located at the top of 4 flights of stairs which is not shown in any descriptions. I had just climbed thousand of stairs while hiking 7 days on the Inca trail so this is the last thing I wanted to do upon arriving exhausted to the hotel.
I would never stay here again nor would I ever recommend this place.
