At the top of the village, in a sought after street, 'the sunhaven' is a homely beach house just 600m to the most beautiful, family friendly beaches on the South Coast. With a comfortable & welcoming vibe throughout, it can accommodate a family of 6 or just as comfortably, 3 couples. Freshly renovated from top to bottom, the eat-in kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave and nespresso machine. There is an open plan lounge, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We are pet friendly with a fully fenced yard. Also a beautiful north facing front deck plus another undercover entertaining area with comfortable seating, bench style dining + built-in BBQ.
The laundry facilities are complete with washing machine, clothes dryer plus undercover/internal clothes drying area.

Bedding configuration:
Bedroom 1 - king size bed
Bedroom 2 - bunk bed (double + single) with extra trundle bed
Bedroom 3 - queen size bed (please note this bedroom can only be accessed via external stairs)

We are a pet friendly home but we strictly (and kindly) ask that pets are to remain outside. There is plenty of undercover space & grass for them to enjoy.

The perfect stay

This is our third time staying a Sunhaven on Crookhaven. It is as good as it looks. Beautiful sunny aspect and perfectly appointed. Updated furniture and air-conditioning was a very lovely surprise and made for a wonderful family holiday. You won't find a better house and host on the south coast.

Absolute gem

This is our favourite holiday house ever. It’s not necessarily bigger, fancier etc. just better. It’s incredibly clean, beautifully furnished, very well equipped and just a lovely place to spend time. Closer to the beach than we anticipated. Owner is superb and very prompt. Bed and couch very comfy. Outdoor shower means no Sandy floors. Pantry and other useful items well stocked. Kids loved the toys and games.

This is your quintessential beach house. Beautifully appointed, airy and bright. We loved the sun-filled balcony and bbq area and the green grass. The outdoor shower was a total bonus. Perfect for dogs and small children. We will come again!

Beach vibes

What a fantastic beach holiday house. Kelly has done an excellent job in coastal styling and has created a warm home away from home holiday house. Our family spent two nights here and were very happy with Kelly’s home and the beautiful beaches within walking distance. We especially enjoyed the kitchen that opens out onto the sunny deck area. I highly recommend Kelly’s home for a beach getaway.

Perfect location and a impeccably presented home

This home was one of the nicest places I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The decore, open plan living area, immaculate garden, and gorgeous deck with stacking sliding windows created a beautiful sense of calm and relaxation. I would love to come and stay again. Thanks also to the owner who was very cooperative around us booking and cancelling due to Covid-19, where she gave a full refund. We were so excited that the wedding we were attending was able to proceed afterall, and we were able to re-book. It was a wonderful weekend. I highly commend this property.

Fabulous holiday house

Despite all the recent fires down south and uncertainty being able to get to Currarong our super host Kelly was very accommodating to our needs. The house was perfect for our family of four and Eddie our dog. We had a fabulous stay! Currarong is a hidden gem. We have been coming here for 20 years and will be coming back for many more to come.

Thanks Kelly for sharing your wonderful home. We spent a great week in Currarong. The ‘Sunhaven’ was everything you could want for a relaxing beach holiday. The house is very well equipped & stylishly decorated. We were a family of 3 adults & 2 kids and there was ample room for all of us. We were provided with bikes to explore Currarong & the backyard was big enough for a game of afternoon cricket. The ping pong table was also a great way to while away a rainy afternoon. We would love to spend another week or two at ‘Sunhaven’

Fantastic

The Sunhaven is the perfect beach house. Beautifully styled and appointed. It has everything you could possibly need - right down to a washing basket, pegs, clothes airers, board games and a cricket set. We had such a wonderful time and will be back!

We really enjoyed our weekend away in this beautifully renovated and stylish home. It was a great size for a couple or a family. It was clean and comfortable. Lovely outdoor entertaining area and good location. Short walk to some great natural wonders and whale watching areas. We would definitely stay again.
