"Beautiful house in a beautiful location. We arrived on a cooler day in November but the house always stayed warm. Note that this is not the Tejeda you probably heard of but a much smaller village. However, it’s 400m lower and therefore warmer. We appreciated the quiet. "

The description of the cueva was close to the pictures but incomplete and misleading.We could not have figured out that every room had a separate outdoor access, therefore a total of 5 different keys with no identification of which door it opened.After 15 minutes of struggle with the different locks which were in dreadful conditions, we finally figured out that only the kitchen and main bedroom communicated. "Absolutely fantastic week at the Santa Catalina - Royal Hideaway Hotel!! Half board, so we got to enjoy the delicious daily breakfast at the Hotel followed by dinner at the 1890 La Bodeguita - fabulous food & service at both! The hotel is just so beautiful and staff cannot do enough for you through your entire stay! We had 3 spa sessions to enjoy even more relaxation during the stay! Cannot recommend this hotel enough - will definitely be returning!!"

Paradisus by Meliá Gran Canaria – All Inclusive

"We had a lovely relaxing 8 days. Nothing was too much trouble for staff. Meliá hotels are excellent. We paid extra for The Reserve and it was definitely worth it. The Reserve breakfast and lunch buffet was ideal. The pool was fabulous with Bali beds and lots of loungers. Maivelys was incredible serving drinks, fruit and ice cream. She definitely deserves a special mention and is a true asset to the Paradisus."

"The best thing about this hotel is the staff and the food. The property is a lovely art deco style building that needs some updating but the rooms are spacious and the views of the port are great. The third time we have stayed here, the buffet breakfast is great with a nice selection and the food in the bar is great too. Staff are always so friendly and accommodating. Close to bus connections, easy walk to Triana where there is a great selection of shops and restaurants. Kids love the pool on the roof terrace although it was a bit windy during our stay so we didn’t spend too much time there. "
