"Room service came four times in one week every time we needed to ask for something we have to go down and get it from the front desk"

"My go-to place to stay when I'm in the area a handful of times a year, I was given a room on the first floor, and felt like I was relegated to the dungeon for my one night's stay. I Was very happy to have dinner at Calendra's Restaurant (my 2 previous visits that wasn't possible) and Love the updated look. "

"I enjoy my stay at the Wilshire. I have stayed there in the past and unfortunately I believe that the hotel is declining in maintenance. The room that I stayed air conditioning made squeaking and clanking sounds all night. Even when I turn the heat on the system continued to make noises me from being able to use it during my sleep. I used the cleaning service so the staff very much of this issue. But they probably don't consider it to be an issue because the system but again without putting ear clog and it was really hard to rest."

"This room looks nothing like what I received. The bathtub was dirty, mold spots all over the walls, and the TV didn't work at all. Not to mention, the entire room smelled like someone smoked a carton of cigarettes! At the time of check in, they make you sign and initial a waiver to which you are not allowed to switch rooms, now I know why!"

"Having an indoor heated pool was fabulous while traveling with our 3 kids and the pool area was a nice size with few small tables and lounge chairs. The room was a great size for our family (2 adults and 3 kids, 21, 17 & 14 yr old). We had a a full size fridge which was wonderful. I will say the AC unit was confusing with the room temp but it was ok in the end. As far as the front desk staff- there is a gentleman mid day to night shift that was excellent the night shift had a nice lady but we were not “thrilled” at all with one particular desk staff. Her attitude was ver negative, demeanor horrible, when I asked a simple question I received a rude “duh” type of response and when I inquired about housekeeping the response tone in return was definitely not welcoming at all! The breakfast that was included was pretty great for being included everyday. I would bring my family back and stay again if I needed to. "

"The room was dirty and I asked the front desk to bring the cleaning ladies to our room and they proceeded to tell me the “cleaning ladies aren’t here” and the only option is to switch rooms. Meanwhile literally right before I came to ask the front desk the cleaning ladies were two rooms down from us. I told the front desk that’s not true I just saw them. Then they retracted what they said and said oh yea they must have just started. I said ok…? So can you ask them? And they said no. The only option is to switch rooms. This is extremely frustrating. Plus as a mom with an infant with me it’s difficult to switch rooms and I explained this and they still told me that was the only option. Would not recommend this place just because of the staff and the room not being cleaned. "

"The staff at the front desk was awesome very pleasant people The house keeper on the other hand was very loud and unfriendly They need to learn how to clean better and respect the guests The room was ok comfortable beds parking was fine and i did feel safe Restaurant and shopping was near by I like the area "
