「Basic but clean. Towels provided were rather tatty. Convenient for walking to Coop Live. Also on bus route into city centre. Staff friendly. 」

「Jo was really welcoming and made us feel right at home, we had local speciality for breakfast and it was top notch. Room was lovely and comfortable and clean, and we had a great sleep, were well rested for our days in alton towers. Highly recommend. 」

「Accommodation at The Bowling Green is excellent. There are several rooms in a self contained annex right next to the pub. The rooms are of a very high standard and guests have access to a continental breakfast and a mini fridge in the room. We have stayed here many times and have always been impressed. Staff are lovely and always happy to help. Highly recommended. 」

「Nice location and all you need for a short break」

「This property was perfect for our needs, working at a conference in the city. We arrived 9pm and left early both days, so just needed a place to sleep. Private carpark round the rear of property. Close to metro (tram) stop and an easy 20 minutes by car from the city centre (less for Salford Quays or Old Trafford). Apart from check-in we never saw anyone during our weekend stay. Host was contactable by mobile if we needed (which we didn't). Self service breakfast provided (cereals) as under new...
