The Space:
This newly updated house has so much character and amazing unobstructed views from its large, west facing deck. It has two living spaces with separate entrances that can be used together or separated which allows for flexibility with multiple families or multi-generational groups.
A large mudroom greets you upon entering which is fantastic for storing gear and jackets. The open floor plan really makes this house feel bigger than it is. The fully stocked kitchen has so much space for cooking, gathering and eating with 3 barstools at one counter. There is a separate coffee/bar area adjacent to the kitchen and dining room which is nice for added space.
The dining table seats 6 and if you're facing west you'll have unobstructed views out the oversized living room windows. A large deck is situated on the west side of the house as well. It's private and boasts a world class view.
The living area has lots of seating for all to convene and play games or socialize with a gas fireplace to warm up after a long day on the slopes. There is a bedroom on this floor with a queen size bed as well as a full bathroom with a tub across the hall. A full size washer and dryer are available on this floor.
All of our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware and utensils. While most properties have salt, pepper, and basic cooking pantry items, we do not guarantee these will be available upon arrival.
There is a loft with spiral stairs leading up to it from the mudroom. A bedroom which overlooks the downstairs has a full size bed. Keep in mind that this bedroom is loft-style in that it is open to the floor below on one wall but is walled in on the other 3 walls and has a door for privacy. The rest of the loft is a perfect hang out for kids or folks wanting to relax and watch TV. You will also find a full bathroom on this floor.
There is a full self sufficient studio apartment as well (bedroom 3). It has its own outside entrance and mudroom area. It can also be accessed through a door in the living room of the main house. It has a beautiful remodeled bathroom and a cute, fully functional studio style kitchen. Your group can decide how to use these spaces most efficiently.
The property has two cameras. One is situated on the front of the property and looks onto the driveway. The other is situated on the south side of the house up high. This camera is covered and inactive when guests are present.
Parking: All vehicles must park in the driveway. The garage is not for guest use, except for gear storage. We can accommodate 2 vehicles outside the garage. NO on street parking is allowed in the town of Mt. Crested Butte.
This house is in a quiet neighborhood on Paradise Road. The free on demand van service will stop in front of the house for access to the ski area. You can hop on a free bus at the ski area and ride down to the Town of Crested Butte. The ski resort is approximately .6 of a mile if you chose to walk. There is great cross country skiing and snowshoeing close by. In the summer months, the location couldn't be better for access to some of the best mountain biking and hiking trails.
The minimum age for all persons in this property is 25 years, excepting children (of all ages) with their parent or legal guardian.
Please note that we do count all children and infants in the headcount for the property.

The view was absolutely amazing!! The house was clean and had everything we needed. Great use of space and the master bedroom suite is perfect. Fit our family of four, we will definitely be back.
We really enjoyed our 3-night stay. The views from the back deck are spectacular. The place is very clean and has everything you could need. We enjoyed grilling on the back deck while enjoying the view.
We enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect, just outside of town with a fantastic view. We saw foxes in the field and snow on the peaks. If the leaves hadn’t already fallen, we would have seen tons of Aspen color. The property was very clean and homey. We especially loved the reading nook.

The property was very good. The view is clearly a million-dollar view. And it is quiet, which was most enjoyable. Coming from the Denver area, the serenity of the location was paramount
Incredibly well kept house in a conveniently located neighborhood, right outside of Crested Butte. A beautiful backyard view that has to be seen to be believed. Everything we possibly needed was provided and the rental agency's communication was efficient and timely. Clean, warm and maintained to a high level. We would certainly stay here again! Highly recommended.
The house was perfect for us. Incredible view out the back windows, through which we watched a small herd of mule deer feed almost everyday. It's easy to get into town if you want to and even easier to get to some great hiking spots down Gothic road. Very charming place, neat and well-maintained. Lots of sleeping areas and the loft space is very private.
Only small issue, which is really just something to be aware of, is that during the summer the big back windows admit a lot of light. And the sun comes up pretty early. Not a problem for us, just worth noting.
Kitchen was very functional, everything worked, lots of bathroom and bedroom space, we would 100% stay here again.
We had an amazing time at this property, the location was perfect for driving right to the slopes and the backyard was gorgeous! We felt very comfortable here and loved the layout of the home. Waking up with the mountains right outside the window was an incredible experience. Shay (the property manager) was also extremely accomodating and answered our call on a weekend to help us figure out the front door code when we locked ourselves out. We will definitely stay here again!
We love the character of this house! It was perfect for our family of four (adult children)....we all had our own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen(s) is stocked with everything you could possibly need and the view from the patio is beautiful. The property is just as described (or better) and very clean. Definitely recommend!
Wonderful layout and location. Only two minor short-falls:
1. No dishwasher but not a big deal
2. Driveway was very muddy... could use a heavy dose of pea gravel.
