The Space:

Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms where the master has a split king bed (always made up as a king) with an ensuite bathroom with dual sinks and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and vaulted ceilings. The second bathroom has a tub/shower combo with lots of storage for all your travel necessities.

For those unseasonably warm, summer days/nights, the main living floor and both bedrooms have their own portable air-conditioners that can be easily assembled by putting the vent into the window and the cool air will begin to flow.

Please store all gear in the heated garage and please don’t wear ski boots on the deck or in the house.
This property is monitored by a security camera with audio and video.
PARKING OVERVIEW:
Parking in the Pitchfork neighborhood can be limited. Street parking is not assigned. In the summer, street parking is allowed on both sides. In the winter, street parking is allowed on only one side. If visiting in the winter, it is highly recommended that you bring one car and park in the heated garage as street parking will be very limited.
You will have access to the entire heated garage but will be able to park in one only space. The other space is for securely storing bikes, ski gear, etc. The garage door is 90 inches wide by 93 inches high. The length of a car in the garage cannot exceed 205 inches. Your vehicle must fit inside with the garage door closed or pipes in the walls can freeze and damage the boiler/heating system if left open.
Access to the garage is via the common driveway between the property and another building which requires a 3-point turn to enter the garage. Large SUV’s (GMC Tahoe, Cadillac Escalade, etc) and large pickup trucks will not be able to make the turn and will need to park on the street. Medium sized SUV’s such as a Jeep Cherokee, Nissan Murano, Toyota 4Runner will fit but ensure your vehicle meets the dimensions if you have larger tires or a roof carrier.
If your vehicle does not fit in the garage or you need additional parking, you have access to one space on the streets of Pitchfork. Always make sure you are reading the signs to ensure you are parking in a legal space.
All of our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware and utensils. While most properties have salt, pepper, and basic cooking pantry items, we do not guarantee these will be available upon arrival.
This is a pet friendly property. You are welcome to bring one dog and will be charged a separate pet fee at the time of booking.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Renters 25 years and older are welcome. Please note that we do count all children and infants in the headcount for the property.
Mt Crested Butte STR License #306468 For emergency contact/Local Representative contact information, go to the Town of Mt. Crested Butte website and navigate to the Short-Term Rental page. Please note that our company does have a separate rental policy that will be emailed to you immediately after booking and this will need to be signed by you. If you wish to see it prior to booking, just send us an email.
Warning, snow and ice slides from the roof with great force. Watch out for roof slides and icy surfaces/steps when outside. Do not play or stand under descending roof lines while outside. Major slide areas exist on all sides of the house. Be especially vigilant when on the driveway in front of the deck and house. You need to monitor yourselves, children and pets when outside. Stay aware. As a courtesy, this home is included on a driveway snowplow and shovel route where the snow gets cleared when at least 4 inches has fallen. Due to staffing issues, the HOA plow and shovel crews can take time to get to the property. If they don’t arrive by the time you are ready to leave the home, it is recommended you clear the deck and the stairs with the provided shovel and broom.

The Horeshoe Haven condo was great. Easy access to the ski resort and trips into town via a shuttle which stopped right outside the condo. I would recommend staying there!
My wife and I usually stay in town. The property was a quick, 5 minute, shuttle from down town CB. Two garages provided plenty of room to securely store bikes.
We had a fabulous stay for Thanksgiving! Treating our daughter and new son in law to a first snow skiing trip to Crested Butte. Snow and sunshine was everywhere. This condo is fabulous. Location is perfect for riding the bus to the slopes, or riding to town. Very cute and cozy.
What a great place. Very nicely finished. Cozy but plenty of room for 4 adults. Everything was very well stocked from kitchen to bath - one of the best we have ever stayed in. Fantastic location with the shuttle bus just outside the door. Great gear storage setup in the garage. Excellent and responsive communication. We will definitely be back!
The condo was modern and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. The master bed was comfortable. Bathrooms were very nice. Our SUV was too big to make the turn into the garage space so we had to park on the street which was very crowded. Do remember that there are no bathrooms downstairs on the main level.
Overall great experience. Loved the location between the town and the mountain resort. Paved running/biking trail (2+ miles each way) right next to property along mountain ridge toward the town.
Place was clean, with plenty of supplies for our two week stay.
Property manager was VERY responsive with questions and requests.
It’s a 2BR/2B, but upstairs was very tight, even for just two adults. Not much room for storing clothes, but we made do.
Only real drawback was the main bedroom was two twin mattresses pushed together (rather than one king/queen), and it was annoying having the ridge/open space between the two mattresses when trying to sleep.
Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and there was a gas grill on the balcony.
Not much room to sit on the balcony and enjoy the cool weather.
Parking out front was occasionally available (when neighbors didn’t take it), otherwise we parked in the garage (tight fit for an SUV to turn and park).
Always felt very safe.
The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. We enjoyed the view of Mt. Crested Butte. The bathrooms were nicely done. One only comment we had was in the master bath, the plastic runner for shower door needs to be adjusted because it does leak on the floor some.
My family and I stayed here for a long weekend.
Everything was just as advertised. The communication and instructions from the management company were easy and efficient.
There were no issues or concerns throughout our entire stay.
I recommend this home and would definitely stay again.
The property was excellent. However, Day1 our dog was attacked by a neighbor's dog. Our dog was on a leash, hers were not. She quickly informed me, "this is an off leash neighborhood". For anyone else who owns a dog who reacts to being jumped on by off leash dogs, consider carefully.
