"This is a fantastic property. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Although close to the main road (and easy access to local amenities, walks and beautiful beaches), it is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed having the pool/ping pong table in the lounge. Would love to return for another stay."

"Great spot for exploring Galloway. Hot tub overlooking the forest, and walks starting straight from the cabin. Wildlife all around. Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. Dave & Becky were very helpful, we'd definitely come back!"

"Charming cottage style flat well decorated with interesting local art and great views out to the harbour and castle. TV a bit tricky to set up for local news and difficult to remove subtitles on bbc iPlayer. Bathroom a bit cold at times and not on same floor as bedroom and lounge. In need of some painting to upgrade. Otherwise very convenient for all amenities."

"We stayed 6 Nights and found a cottage with very modern furniture, all you Need in the kitchen, own BBQ Grill Outside including Picnic Area. Allthough Its in the countryside, with a lot of nature around (trees, River, sheep, Cattle, birds and Flowers- you have a stabile wifi Connection. So What ever you seek- you are able to totally relax and disconnect or connect via the net. The Host family is Nice and live also on the ground in case you Need anything. "Park Cottage is set in a lovely location in Cally Woods (so many great walks and cycle opportunities). Also with use of the Cally Palace Hotel facilities including the swimming pool. However the house was unclean, especially the kitchen with unusable pans and not enough cutlery to sit 9 people in one setting. There was black mould on the downstairs bathroom ceiling. "This gave us everything we were looking for. The cottage itself is well kitted out, and has everything that is needed, but the quiet county location is perfect. "It’s a nice hotel in need of some investment. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice, but the restaurant was unbearably hot, air conditioning is required or at the least the ability to open windows for fresh air.
