"We expected a sea view which we didn't get. However, on inspection of the front of the property we were happy with our position since the sea wall was under repair and no doubt caused the guests at the front a lot of aggravation!!However, your advertisement did lead us to believe that we would be facing the sea to the rear.It was difficult to find the lock box from the instructions given. After some time, we discovered it was located via a gate at the rear off of the public park.We enjoyed our stay and found the accommodation delightful and very well appointed. It was obvious that a great deal of thought had gone into the preparation to make our stay as comfortable .as possible. We would certainly recommend people to holiday at this venue, even though it was a bit pricey it was "top notch".The welcoming gifts were very thoughtful and well received.We were very comfortable but consider this accommodation a bit tight for four people.Please advise the owners that the fan in the bedroom is not working too well and the microwave is somewhat unstable and could possibly cause an accident.We enjoyed our stay and will probably stay again in the future."

"The Canal house did not disappoint, it had everything we needed for a family boating holiday. The jetty was an absolute bonus, the kids loved dropping the crab pots from both the boat & jetty while we enjoyed a drink overlooking the canal. The house has 5 bedrooms. It’s an old house but kept very clean. It has everything for an enjoyable holiday. We loved it. Thank you Joan"
