"For the value this is a clean place to stay. The pros are that it was clean, and pet friendly. The cons: I walked in, and the smell of fabuloso about knocked me over. I had to clean that up with some natural cleaners I had, and air it out for hours on I even be able to breathe. If you’re sensitive to toxins, just a warning. For such a beautiful place in the mountains, and nature, I would have hoped for a scent free environment free of parabens. Plug on the tub was broken, so water wouldn’t stay in. Also, the dead bolt had been removed, that kind of freaked me out as a solo traveler. The property was pretty run down, but it looked like it was for sale, so I guess that’s why there was no staff in the main building. There is a phone number in case you have questions, but other than that no one on the premises. There was what looked like an apartment upstairs, and it sounded like someone was nailing art to the walls or remodeling literally until 2-3 am. I didn’t sleep very well, but again, for the money, if you need a place to crash, and you’re not picky, this will do. Would have been 5 stars all around with these things fixed. Maybe next time! "

"Pros: clean; good size house for a group; great number of bathrooms; great view of river with deck seatingCons: for a house that can host 15 people, the hot water only lasts for approximately 3 showers which is a huge inconvenience when the group all comes home from skiing; dumpster is not on site so extra trips must be made to take trash out"

"Overall the cabin was nice. However, I don’t know that it was worth the price per night. The hot tub & sauna were great! The location is beautiful, but a far drive to get anywhere. Our biggest complaint was that the listing didn’t mention the toxic water situation. Anywhere there is a sink in the house, there’s a note reminding you that the water is bad for you & to please only drink from the Culligan tap in the kitchen. The water in the shower smells like eggs & leaves you feeling gross as you know it isn’t even safe for drinking. Again, beautiful location & great hot tub/sauna, but not sure we would stay again. "

"Everything was great, however the trash bins were never emptied from a previous stay and the water never got very hot for the master bathtub. When I asked they told me to turn the faucet on. On fully hot, it was only lukewarm. The access/entry code given didn’t work either, had to call management for a new entry code. "
