"The people were the best part of this stay. They deserve so much credit. They need to spend some money and update this hotel. The outside door to our balcony would not lock. The place looks dated and parking situation is less to be desired. But there were good people who made the stay more palatable. The staff gets the 4 stars. Double Tree needs to do better for the staff and the guest."

"The cement walkway from room to office is uneven and presents a safety hazard to those who have some difficulty with mobility. They are a potential fall with injury opportunity. Everything else is well done, and all staff are friendly and professional. We enjoyed our weekend. 😊"

"Definitely pet friendly, there was a place for the boat in the back. We stay here 15 years ago and it does need some new paint. Ut things age....And maybe a little attention to the dust bunnies in those high ceilings. But it was still a lovely place with a helpful staff. 2 swimming pools, a laundry room, and close enough to walk to the beach or to dinner."
