Location is amazing, it’s a high quality hotel with nice amenities and friendly staff and the bars are amazing.

The Cumberland was a decent hotel overall. The bed was somewhat comfortable, you could feel its age and the underpinnings were lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean but there were spots on the ceiling that raised some eyebrows. Gym was clean and well stocked. Reception was overall very helpful except for delays in housekeeping/maintenance arriving to solve a plumbing issue. Great value for money for London and the location for time of year.

In this hotel, the rooms are clean and comfortable however they remodeled the rooms to be more modern eliminating such things as dressers and adequate closet space for two people staying more than one night. The bathroom was clean and modern but not designed for old people as the toilet is not tall enough and there are no grab bars. The shower is higher off the floor than usual which could cause a person to fall when stepping out of the shower.
