This is a nice, newer property inside the restricted area at Mont St. Michel. Shuttle stop is nearby along with several restaurants. Staff was helpful and welcoming. Only downside was lack of an elevator.

Alert! Things you should know before booking or arriving: 1) Rooms are on the fourth floor, there is no elevator and the stars are very steep, long and narrow sprials. Bring only a small bag. I wish we had been warned of this in advance. 2) The rooms are tiny and there is no public space. We asked if we could play cards in the closed breakfast room with friends staying in another room and were angrily told we could not. 3) They may a billing error in the restaurant and though admitting it refused to change it after they put the charge through. 4) Their specified parking is on the land side of the bridge - you must still take crowded bus to the island and it only takes you half way there. Same for returning to the car. 5) In the summer the island is not closed off by the tide, many loud tourists stay past midnight and it is not at all a magical experience.

Make sure you get the code for the parking. You need to stop at the Relais before you cross the bridge. They just check you in and give you a map. You need to get the map at reception of Les Terrace. It’s confusing but eventually you get there. It was fun staying on the island.
