There is no elevator, as this is an older building, so future guests should know they will have to carry heavy things up stairs. This is a working neighborhood, not a tourist area, so there is considerable neighborhood noise but you can shut this out if the balcony doors are closed. The only negative for us was that there is a drought and we had the water shut off...
