「Hotel takes a deposit on your card and then without any discussion only refunds a portion of it. Example. I was accused of smoking cigarettes inside my room because the maid claims they found two butts in the trash can. No pics no proof but kept half my deposit. Heard it’s a common scam there. Called to talk to the manager and of course he was “out” and will not call me back. Not honest and shady. Hotel has some rooms rented out like apartments. Next time I’m in the area I will pay double...
