"When I checked in the manager said she would help me resolve the double booking and never did. The area where I met my clients was dirty. For the price you expect it to be clean. Then I went to my room and it smelled like urine. Called the front desk and instead of switching me to a clean rom they send housekeeping to clean. All cleaning could do at treat time was spraying some fragrance which just made it smell like flower full urine. The second time I called the front desk no one answered. When I checked out the lady at the desk did not even let me finish explaining my situation with the double booking and cut me off refusing to help. After I was allowed to speak I explained the manager knew all about it and I just wanted to leave a reminder to help me resolve it. I never got a response and ended up paying full price fur a day I was not there. Very upsetting situation. I would never recommend this hotel."

"The hosts are very attentive. We stayed in the larger house for a couple of weeks first then moved to this cabin for a month and we just loved it here. It’s so peaceful and the property is well maintained. Well stocked with fresh towels, comfy beds, linens, a coffee maker and all the cooking items you could need. Just 10 minutes to anything you need without all the noise! Views of the pond and the cows on the other side made daily visits. If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet country place to unwind after your day in New Braunfels or Seguin, this is a winner. "

"The room was clean upon entering so was the bathroom. However, I always like to take Clorox wipes and wipe the counters and remotes, after I did that the wipes were visibly dirty. The bed sheets were clean they still had the fresh folded creases. The ac worked very well, the curtains had a darkening screen that was very nice to have. You could hear people walking thru the halls but noise wasn’t bad. The breakfast was literally all bread. Toast/ cheap danish pastry and a waffle machine. Cheap cereal and apple/orange juice machine. The line was all the back so we didn’t even try to enter since the room was so small. Originally I booked here for the indoor pool, however it didn’t look too clean and I was told it was very cold, so I didn’t even want to risk getting my kids in. Instead there’s an hat creek burger within walking distance, it was nice to walk for dinner and let my kids play in the outdoor playground. All in all the stay was okay for it being a budget motel. "

"Fantastic hosts - Joy and Sherman are two of the nicest and most accommodating on the planet. I loved everything about this place and so especially did my two Dalmatians, who were enchanted by the cows.If you are looking for a beautiful setting in a rural area that is quiet and serene, and love the idea of waking up to a beautiful sunrise, sitting outside on the porch with your coffee and watching your dogs play in the yard, this place is the one to pick in the San Antonio area!Thank you Joy and Sherman!"

"This glamping dome was cozy and comfortable. We were completely relaxed and enjoyed the amenities. Also looking at the farm animals was a bonus!! I’m looking forward to rebooking this glamping dome again. "

"The refrigerator was dirty and wasn’t cooling and the shower had the previous guest dirty personal care products (razors and bar soap). I notified the operator/owner and was told just throw them away. The refrigerator issue was never addressed or resolved. "

From the very beginning, communication with the property owner was clear, timely, and incredibly helpful, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free.They graciously allowed us to hold a celebration of life for my mother on the property, which meant more to our family than words can express. The setting was peaceful, beautiful, and provided the perfect space for us to come together and honor her memory.The home itself had plenty of room both inside and out, making it ideal for gathering with family and friends. It was clear the owners put a lot of thought into every detail—everything we needed was already there.We highly recommend this property and will absolutely be returning in the future."
