「Cooke City is a beautiful, quaint little mountain town. Limited restaurants, but they are good. Fox Den cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that is it quite small. There are beds for 5, but it felt crowded with just 2 people. Hosts were extremely helpful and quick to respond to messages.」

「My friend and I enjoyed the cabin and the quaint, small town of Silver Gate and neighboring town of Cooke City!! The location is perfect to begin the beautiful Beartooth Highway to Red Lodge and enter Yellowstone National Park. So interesting to realize that this cabin was a gas station so many years ago!」

「The location is perfect if you are spending time in Lamar Valley. Very small rustic cabin, but it worked well for our visit to Yellowstone. Be aware that early in the season there is not much open in Silvergate or nearby Cooke City. Plan dining accordingly. There is a small refrigerator in the cabin, and a coffee pot and microwave.」
