Walton - Three Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 5
Walton is perfectly placed and well-designed to take in the amazing location overlooking the Conwy Estuary, and it is designed to take full advantage of the spectacular views. The living room space is seamlessly connected to the outdoors through bifold doors, and the interior is equally impressive in terms of furnishings and amenities. Overall, Walton is an ideal spot to unwind, discover, and enjoy the beauty of North Wales. The upper floor of the house accommodates the bedrooms and bathroom. The two double bedrooms are situated at the front of the house to enjoy the views, while the single bedroom, which has a 2'6" bed, is located at the rear. The main family bathroom has a double bath, a walk-in shower, a sink, and a WC. Additionally, there is a separate well-maintained WC. The garage is located on this level and can be used to park a small car or store a bikes or small boats, (garage approx 2.35m wide x 4.50m long x 2m high). There is also off-street parking available outside the garage. The upper floor also has a second entrance to the house. The whole property is beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard, offering stunning views of the river Conwy, Conwy castle, and Snowdonia due to its location on a hillside. The main entrance leads to a spacious kitchen-dining room with seating for 6, which includes modern appliances such as an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge freezer and coffee machine. Additionally, a separate utility room is available for laundry, equipped with a washing machine and tumble drier. The sun room at the front of the house is a perfect place to enjoy breakfast while taking in the breathtaking views. The living room boasts a large TV, freeview satellite, DVD player, hi-fi with bluetooth speaker and a coal effect gas fire, and bookshelves stocked with a variety of books and DVDs. The sun room and living room also have access to a decked area with garden furniture, providing a great way to relax and enjoy the stunning location. Situated in Deganwy between Llandudno and Conwy, Walton is a house built on the side of a hill near River Conwy, with easy access to local amenities, including pubs, shops and a convenience store located at a walking distance. Additionally, the Wales Coast Path passes right in front of the house, allowing visitors to explore the entire coastline of Wales on foot or by bike. Llandudno, a popular resort town, is just a 5-minute drive away, boasting several shops, bars, restaurants, and other attractions. Another nearby attraction is the historic town of Conwy, featuring a walled town and a small harbour. Moreover, visitors can spot numerous wading birds at the Conwy RSPB Centre or enjoy a movie at the Cineworld multiplex cinema, both of which are located nearby. The A55 road is also easily accessible, providing visitors with an opportunity to explore the stunning Anglesey and Llŷn Peninsula coastlines and the majestic mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia). A mix of modern and historical, Deganwy sits on the shores of the Conwy Estuary between Victorian Llandudno and medieval Conwy. An evolving town that's making modern additions, it also celebrates its heritage. Enjoying a fortunate position, Deganwy delivers stunning views across the water to the Isle of Anglesey and Conwy Castle. The town's beach is a south-facing sun magnet that's complemented by a contemporary marina and quayside development. Nearby, you will find Conwy, a town rich in history, which much of it still preserved within the walls and traditional structures of its buildings. In the heart of it is the mighty 13th-century castle, whose walls encapsulate this remarkable medieval town. Surrounded by lush Welsh countryside and watched over by the mighty mountains of Snowdonia, it's a most beautiful place to visit. The Quay is host to a number of amenities and is a particularly stunning place to visit during the warm summer months. Whether you'd prefer to sit with a refreshing drink outside of the cosy quayside pub, take an exciting boat tour around the coastal area or hike upon the many surrounding mountains - it's all possible in the quaint town of Conwy. Conwy offers a whole host of places to eat and drink. Fine dining restaurants, traditional pubs and snug cafes can be found throughout the town. It's also host to a number of hotels and B&Bs - many of which incredibly close to the castle itself. It's not every day that you wake up five minutes away from a medieval castle - but in Conwy, it's the norm for many. With its traditional and quaint appearance, you may be fooled into thinking that this town is hard to access. It's just over an hour's drive from two major airports - Liverpool and Manchester. If you'll be travelling by train, you'll have no problems catching a train from major cities in the UK over to Conwy. It's worth exploring further afield in the rest of Conwy County which includes equally impressive coastal towns.

The cottage was a real home from home, very clean and had everything we needed. It has some nice personal touches and the best info book we have seen. We have never stayed anywhere that provided all the kitchenware, utensils and foil, clingfilm, kitchen roll, toilet roll etc. so that was a nice surprise. Plenty of plates, glasses etc. Definitely not the bare minimum you sometimes find. The pantry had salt, pepper, oil etc. Tea, coffee and sugar was provided. It was a nice touch to find some Welsh cakes and milk left for us too. Beds are soft but extremely comfortable. Great bathroom, lots of hot water. Everything worked perfectly. Bonus having Netflix for rainy times. Beautiful view from the front. Easy to park at the back on the road The road noise in front died down after 8pm and was very quiet throughout the night so it didn’t disturb us. Trains run nearby but again we didn’t find they disturbed us and they don’t run overnight. The location was perfect. Co-op 3 min walk. Pub on the corner that does meals. Although we didn’t eat there. Would recommend the Erskine Arms in Conwy. The food is excellent but you need to book. Easy access to Llandudno, Conwy and further afield. A great little place to stay.
