"The camper is in such a beautiful location, the view is awesome and we saw so much wildlife... When the kids were quiet! Which wasn't often bc they loved the pool! We ventured into town to Long Point Beach and we're pleasantly surprised by a craft festival! The camper is the perfect space for a little family. The screened in porch was a lovely place for coffee and breakfast. We truly enjoyed every minute there!"

"Pros: Host contact prior to check in/told me to let him know our arrival so he could talk me through the house setup. House well stocked:soaps paper products dishes linens. Large lot/plenty of seating/fire pit. Large back deck. Kitchen appliances good working order. Very large master bedroom/bath Washer/dryer available Owner fixed issue with lower window unit & toaster promptlyCons: Upper bedrooms not useable bc of heat. Ran units/fans as directed & temperature was not conducive for sleeping. Kitchen & main floor living areas very warm. We were instructed to leave the door open but then got house flies galore in the house. Ended up renting large stand up unit for 200 which made the week bearable. I asked about the air conditioning situation prior to taking this rental last June. Was told that split units were being put in for main living area in September. Apparently didn’t happen. Kitchen has a very small eating area so if you’re stuck inside with inclement weather be aware that table only fits 4 Suggestions: Keep a few cupboards empty for groceries. Kept most non perishables in bins bc there wasn’t cupboards to put it in. Bring popup to cover the table on back deck. The nuts that fall from tree are obnoxious and afternoon sun bakes you back there. One additional note is the pictures online show some taxidermy on walls. Be prepared that there is a lot & while it’s not my thing the grandsons loved it"

"The pictures do not do this property justice! The view off the back of the house is stunning, including partial lake views with stunning sunsets. The covered back patio was cool and our central hangout location. When the sun got warm in the late afternoon, we could use the front porch for shade if needed. The swimming pool was very clean, super refreshing and salt water!We also enjoyed the hot tub. Both of the bedrooms upstairs were sufficiently cool with the window air-conditioning units and the ceiling fans. One suggestion that I would have for visitors would be to bring extra ice because the refrigerator/freezer machine was not able to keep up with the need for ice in the hot summer. Also, the property has a really nice speaker system with Bluetooth that you can hear from the back patio and in the pool, so there was no need for us to bring our own portable speaker.The hosts were prompt in responding to questions we had before enduring our stay. Our group included eight adults ranging an age from mid 30s to late 60s and we all loved it and hope to come back next year. Thank you for having us in your home!"
