This condo was nice and looked comfortable and just as described in the listing. Unfortunately the smell of Lysol about knocked us over when we opened the door. It was so strong inside we opened all the windows to let it air out. It was way too cold to do that for hours like it needed so we contacted the host who responded quickly and even offered us one of her nearby units. Unfortunately they both smelled just as strong. I’m honestly somewhat sensitive to smells but have never had this issue at another VRBO. I knew I couldn’t stand the smell even just for one night. Some people like “fresh” scents — I’m just not one of them. This was a doctors office on steroids in my opinion. We left and stayed in a hotel. I requested a 50% refund but she wouldn’t do it. Sorry this one didn’t work for us. No fault to anyone just letting others who may find these odors intolerable.
