The Bungalow: Ultimate Relaxation in the Mountains
Welcome to our cozy basement basecamp. Get ready to dive into the tiny home vibes with a 2-person hot tub, kitchenette, smart TV, and a foldout sofa bed for relaxation and efficiency! Ideal for travelers passing through or lovebirds looking for a snug spot to hunker down. PLEASE NOTE: If you choose to book, you will be in a 8'x10' (Main room) studio and sleeping on a pull out sofa bed! Consider it glamping! Please take this into consideration before making your vacation decision.
Please read entirely so you have a good idea of what you are booking, as we will stick to our cancellation policy. We do have security cameras outside to monitor traffic. They will be on during your stay.
This is tiny living with very efficient amenities. As listed in the description it is also a basement space, so you will more than likely have upstairs neighbors. You do have your own private entrance and designated parking, and all your amenities are separate! We have strived to make this an affordable option for people wanting to still stay in the area!
If you are interested in an early check in or late checkout, please inquire on the day of your booking. We would need to hire an additional cleaner for $50.
Notes to take into account: --October-May we can have snow storms. Please be aware you may need 4-wheel drive. Check the weather for Cascade-Chipita Park as it can be very different from Colorado Springs. --The Bungalow doesn't have A/C, but at this elevation you rarely need it! It stays much cooler at 7,800 ft and open windows at night keeps it comfortable.

Very well set up everything as described beautiful location
Peaceful area nice and quiet
Hot tub is great and is covered in case of rain
Nice amenities i.e. snacks, kitchenware, wine available( although didn't open)
Host responds timely manner
Easy directions
Guests considering staying at this property need to read the description very carefully. I did not understand that there was ONLY a sofa bed and no air conditioning. The room is well renovated and clean. It is very small. Kitchenette is a closet and there is no dining area. Hosts were responsive. For the right person, this is a great space. It just wasn't for us. We left a day early.
Super beautiful place to stay for a night or two, and the owners are super kind! The hot tub was perfect for chilly nights and the cabin is clean and cozy. I recommend bringing or buying a mattress topper is staying longer than 2 nights, but everything else was perfect! Highly recommend for any couple looking for a place tucked in the mountains!!
It’s a nice little place nestled on the mountainside. They welcomed us with a complementary bottle of wine. I wasn’t expecting a pullout couch for the bed, but it wasn’t too bad directly on the floor. We made the outdoor lawn chairs w a small 12” circular table work to eat on.
Room was neat and clean! The neighborhood is nice, quiet and comfy. We did not stay the night because of circumstances that were NOT the fault of the host, and they were very quick to communicate and attempt to accommodate, but it just did not work out. Again, this was NOT the fault of the host, they were more than helpful. I would definitely recommend due to the hosts diligence and “going beyond” attitude
