Excellent. Located in a quiet side street near the Rhine. Comfortable room, very quiet hotel, friendly staff & breakfast. 5 minutes walk from Reichensperger Platz U Bahn metro station a couple of stops from Köln Hbf & the Dom. Reception manned 24/7. A safe quiet area.I would definitely stay again.

Appreciated healthy options at breakfast buffet, cleanliness, quiet, good shower pressure, kettle & mini-frig. They advertise that they have air conditioning which was a reason I booked it. It's actually only in 3 rooms. My 1st room was extremely hot & the staff person told me it didn't have AC. So I was moved to a lower floor which he said would be cooler. It didn't have AC so I got very little sleep. The next morning they told me the 1st room actually had AC. So I packed up everything & moved back up there after I made sure the AC was working. The manager took no responsibility nor offered an apology for false advertising, the lost nite's sleep or having to change rooms again. The mattresses were beyond firm so very uncomfortable. The pillows were way too soft, like sleeping on a jacket. It's located well away from the historic center so not convenient. Only 1 out of 3 windows had a screen. One window was hanging off its hinge. They load the mini frig with products to sell which is a nuisance to have to move them to use the frig. You have to climb stairs & carry your own bags to the 2nd floor to get the lift. Their biggest issue is safety in the event of a fire because the keys & door locks are historic so do not work quickly or easily.

The hotel is located in a quiet side-street in Cologne, seemingly well away from any shops, bars, restaurants. The largest drawback however was that the hotel only served breakfast, had no lounge or bar area to chill & relax, & so could really only be used for sleeping & breakfast. However, we soon located a very good - reasonably expensive - steakhouse near bye, & a collection of resturarnts about 15 minutes easy stroll away. I was attending a trade fair at the Cologne Messe, which was around 10mins away by cab, circa £16 each way. My wife used the time I was away at the show to walk along the Rhine, into Cologne centre, easy 25mins walk to the Cathedral. Nice hotel, but would not use again because of the dining/bar situation.

Wonderful place with a good breakfast. I bit outside central Cologne but within walking distance and close to Zoo and Botanical Garden. Parking usually available on the street for 5 Euro for 24 hours.

Zimmer war sauber und ruhig gelegen. Check-In sehr freundlich. Bei Check Out blieb selbst ein guten Morgen fern und auch über den Aufenthalt wurde nicht gefragt. Ausbaufähig. Frühstück ausreichend, aber auch nichts besonderes.

Gutes Stadthotel in einer alten Villa 50m vom Rheinufer entfernt (nahe Zoobrücke9. Ruhiges, gut möbliertes Einzelzimmer, sehr freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstück. Für Gehbehinderte Gäste weniger geeignet.

Die Begrüßung war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer sauber und das Bett bequem. Leider gab es beim Frühstücksbuffet keine vegetarischen oder veganen Aufstriche (abgesehen von der Marmelade) und auch über mehr Gemüse hätte ich mich gefreut.
