The lobby and hallway floors were dirty. Beds were super stiff. Only two towels in the room and they were the least absorbent things I’ve ever used. The hand towels were stained. Definitely won’t be back and that sucks because we have family that lives in town and it’s the closest hotel.

We had a great stay at the Super 8 in Waterloo, IL. The room and beds were clean and had all we needed. The free breakfast was also good and helpful. Thank you for a great stay.

Stayed here 2 years ago and it was run down and dirty. In April the place was worse as if that could occur. Will never stay there again and don’t recommend.

We paid for the suite for a king size bed and non-smoking room. When we checked in the room was hot and the air was not blowing cold air. We were then moved to a 2nd room and the room was hot but after they turned the air on it had colder air. We were then moved to a 3rd room with 2 queen beds that was already cooled down and the air worked all night thankfully. The cleanliness of the tub was not great and water was slow to drain. It sounds like we weren't the only ones having trouble with hot rooms. The guy was very helpful trying to find us a cool room but that was about the only positive we could find with the place.

The room & hallways reeked of cigarettes, the sheets, pillow cases & towels were very dingy & stained, pillows were lumpy. The elevator & vending machine was out of order, mold was growing on bathroom ceiling. The entire property looked ran down & dirty. We didnt stay, we checked in, came back later, couldn't even check out or complain because no one was there, house keeper said she would let them know. HORRIBLE.

Did not receive the room paid for due to it not being ready despite it being hours past check in. Received different room that was not maintained and had visible mold in many areas. Sticky on the floors, filthy fridge, and a 12” hole in the ceiling over the closet exposing pipes and insulation. Had to stay here as it is the only hotel in Waterloo.

Low commode in bathroom. Some people went outside to smoke and left cups, and other debris outside and it was not picked up the two days I was there. Breakfast items were limited and not restocked. Day two at 7:00 AM most items were gone. At checkout I rang the bell and waited after two attempts I had to use a phone to get anyone to to come to the front desk.
