Very clean, and great communication with the hosts. The location works very well too, a block from Tubbs Hill, and a short walk to downtown - worked out well for us!

Caution for Future GuestsWe received helpful pre-arrival info, but our stay was disappointing. On arrival day, we were asked about early check-in, which we didn’t need, planning for the standard 4 p.m. entry. However, the house was poorly cleaned. The kitchen was dirty: grimy coffee pot, crumb-filled silverware drawer, sticky counters. Floors left our feet black within minutes. The primary bathroom had a bra on the towel bar; another had hair on the toilet and an earring on the floor; the lower bathroom had used Q-tips and toilet paper strewn about.A large gap under the front door let in spiders and made temperature control hard. The AC was off, leaving the house at 76F, and struggled to cool, causing an uncomfortable first night. Mice were visible in the backyard rock wall, and the door gap raised concerns about entry. A hair dryer tripped a breaker in a locked basement room, requiring an access code to reset. For a house meant for 10, each bathroom had one partially used toilet paper roll, and the kitchen had one partially used paper towel roll, forcing us to buy more.The management was responsive, offering a 25% cleaning fee refund, but this felt inadequate given the cleaning we did and checkout tasks. While we tried to enjoy our trip, these issues hindered relaxation. Past reviews suggest inconsistent cleaning. We’re unlikely to return and advise confirming thorough cleaning and supplies before booking.

Great neighborhood and experience! We were very close to sanders beach and tubbs hill hiking as well as the downtown parks and splash pad, close to the resort. We could walk everywhere and grocery stores are a short drive away. The space of the home worked well for our family.

Great location

The property is in a great location. It’s close to downtown and close to the beach. We were overall pleased with the property.The property does need to make sure all drains drain properly and the disposal is in working condition. The communication with the property manager was excellent! We were also pleased with all of the furnishings of home. We had a great time! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location

The house was neat and tidy and exactly what we expected from the pictures and description. But the best part was the location. We could walk to the Tubbs Hill park and/or the hiking trail with hardly any effort. Since our kids are all teenagers, that made for easy afternoon outings and getting to see beautiful Couer d'Alene Lake.

Excellent space and location

We had four women staying. There was plenty of space and very comfortable. We relayed some cleaning issues. Otherwise, great!

Great location not so great interior

The two pluses for our stay were the great location (walking distance to everything) and the Manager was very responsive when we needed help and that was numerous times. The property owners for this property have either not inspected the home or they just don't care about its condition. The cleanliness of the property is poor at best. There is black mold in the downstair bathroom and a vent in the living room has layer upon layer of dust. The floors did not appear to have been cleaned as we found upon arrival pills and a battery (obvious location) on the floor. The wood backsplash in the bathrooms again had a thick layer of dust. As for maintenance issues, there is an electrical issue upstairs as we blew a circuit while we were blow drying our hair. An issue that according to the Manager is not a rare occurrence. The front lights flickered (probably electrical issue) and the front door lock was fickle and on the last night quit and we had to call management to get the lockbox key. The entire interior house needs to be painted. They have been just doing touch-up and it is very obvious. I have 16yrs of third party property management and two of my friends at the house both have rental properties. Our complaints come from experience and our own expectation for ourselves as Managers within the industry and not just over picky renters. This house has potential if someone truly cares.

Awesome location and home!

We were in town for a wedding and had a wonderful stay! The home had plenty of room for the 5 of us and was very clean! The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the property manager was amazing…they were very informative and responsive. So happy that we found this home to stay at for our visit.

Beautiful area close to lake

We enjoyed our stay. Disappointed that most of the lake is privately owned and very little beach access. But over all we had a great time. House was close enough to park and downtown we could walk. Beds were amazing, in fact I'm looking into getting one. Host was very helpful and answered all our texts promptly. My only request was no perfume candles, strong cleaning products or laundry soaps; but laundry soap now days is so overpowering with strong perfume smells it has to be washed 2-3 times to get the smell out. So when we arrived we still had to wash our sheets and pillow cases with neutral soap to get the strong smell out as not to cause migraines. I believe the host did try to accommodate our request. Yes, I would recommend this house for your stay if on a modest budget.

Couples get away

This house worked out wonderfully for 4 couples. We could walk to Tubbs Hill for a hike and Sanders beach for a swim. We also walked to the resort to visit their outdoor bar/restaurant by the water. We would stay there again.

Great location

We stayed for 3 nights with 10 guests. The layout was great for a group with kids and adults. The location was perfectly between Tubb's hill, beach and downtown. We loved sitting on the front porch watching all the walking, runners, and bikers go by.

Great property!

This was such a perfect property for our two families to use during a soccer tournament. The location is ideal- walking distance from downtown, the lake, an amazing park, and hiking trails on Tubbs Hills. The property is immaculate! Everything you need is there, from the bathrooms to the kitchen to the laundry. The owners are amazing with their communication was awesome. Text and they respond almost instantly! Checkin was so easy. The front patio is so awesome- we were there during the incredible Northern Lights and watched them from the front patio. There is a small backyard with a bbq. The kids loved the basement space. The only thing that wasn’t advertised was that this is a duplex. The best kind of duplex though- no room walls touched. Our family room connected to the other sides garage so you would never know you had a connecting neighbor. The only thing you share is the driveway. I would highly recommend this home and we will definitely be booking it for the same soccer tournament next year!

Great Location

The location of this house was perfect, we could walk to the beach or into town in minutes but it was very quiet, it was nice to sit outside for morning coffee or after dinner and watch the deer wander around. There is ample parking for multiple vehicles. The bedrooms are all a good size and the kitchen came with more than enough dishes for our 7 person group.

Great location for family with kids

plenty of rooms for family to be comfortable, fine kitchen and dining space to share meals, enclosed backyard for the kids. only 1 house away from park entrance and very short walk to fantastic playground and splash park for the kids. Lake was great for swimming.

Excellent Location

This Home is in the perfect location if you are up for hikes and close to the amazing down town of CDA. The wild Turkeys come out morning and night and are such a joy to watch!

Great distance from downtown, the park & Tubbs hill

This duplex worked really great for our group! We rented out both sides of the house and it allowed everyone to have their own space while still being conveniently close. I really appreciated the fact that each rental has 3 bathrooms among the 4 bedrooms (shared showers though). It has a lot of great outdoor space to enjoy good weather and the neighborhood is great; lots of foot traffic of people traveling to the Tubbs Hill hike. Overall I am glad we rented this home and that they offer two rental spaces in one location; just renting one side of the house would work well too!
