Top Clifden Hotel Reviews

Once Upon a Tide

10/10 Excellent

"The house was the perfect getaway for my family to spend a few days. The home was great and the view was incredible, including the stars at night! There are three sitting rooms we alternated between and it made for fun nights bonding."

Cottage 439 - Clifden - sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms

10/10 Excellent

"What a beautiful cottage with the most stunning views. It was so comfortable and so clean. ( I always bring a few cleaning products with me but they were not needed as it was spotless)The location is great for seeing Connemara with the most wonderful beaches. Clifden has excellent restaurants which have live music on every night. The cottage is very spacious but weirdly has only one bathroom The kitchen is really well stocked with loads of pots and pans etc. a microwave and a coffee maker. I really would have thought a cottage at this standard would have provided a few basic essentials in the kitchen like tea, coffee S&P to start with until you get to a store for a shop. I would highly recommend this cottage and would definitely stay here again"

Cottage 482 - Clifden - sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

8/10 Good

"The house is in a wonderful location, very convenient to town, and is a beautiful build.A few of the furnishings and kitchen items could use a little updating to better match the quality of the house. Our main concern was with the linens. They didn’t feel as fresh or neatly prepared as we would have expected. They had an odor that made us question whether they had been freshly laundered. We did reach out to the host, who was responsive and assured us that the care team had taken care of them.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the location and the home itself. With a little extra attention to the linens and a few of the interior details, it could be an even better experience."

Robins Nest

10/10 Excellent

"Gorgeous property in a perfect location! We holiday in Clifden every summer, but have never had a better apartment than Robin's Nest. Truly- spacious, clean, modern, comfortable. The kitchen is class with coffee, spices, etc, all of the amenities you need. The location is perfect to walk the town and enjoy, plus it's in an ideal spot where you can get out of town quickly by car any direction you want to go for the beaches and sights of Connemara. Very convenient. Yvonne answered immediately to questions and checked in to see if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend and hope we get our hands on it again next summer!"

The Lodge @Sunnybank House - unique country lodge overlooking Clifden Town

10/10 Excellent

"This property is phenomenally well equipped and very clean. Decor is tasteful and fixtures and fittings are good quality. Shane is an excellent host and very responsive. Communication was first rate. Highly recommended."
