"Staff was soo friendly upon arriving! Loved the looks and back story of the building! Loved the location in a quiet, put back, and safe place off of the freeway! Breakfast was amazing! Loved the french vanilla creamer for coffee! The pool and hot tub area was so relaxing and clean! Our room was pretty clean but few areas I was a little uncomfortable in at first due to other people's hair on the floor and in corners of the bathroom and on tub side! Other than that, the bathroom was pretty much clean! The room itself was spacious, cute and accommodating and mostly clean! Overall stay, I'd rate it all together a 4.8 out of 5! I do recommend this hotel though considering cleaning every knook and cranny isn't the easiest with multiple rooms! "

"Staff was friendly. Room was small but efficient. It did have sample sized complimentary shampoo, lotion, soap etc, there was a hairdryer (nice one), and a moving makeup mirror on the wall. There was a nice cabinet to hang clothes in. It also had a rack in the cabinet for a suitcase. There was a mini fridge, and a single serve coffee maker. Our room would have been best for one person traveling alone. The room had a small table, with two nice chairs. Good for working or eating. There were no chairs for relaxing in. That was something we would have really appreciated. In the evening they offered juice, coffee, tea, pop corn and cookies. In the morning they offered complimentary breakfast. Coffee, tea, juice, waffles, cereal, and cinnamon rolls. The room had a balcony. We did not take advantage of that. In our case, it looked out over the highway. So it was very loud, not scenic because of the highway. Sleeping was a challenge due to all the traffic, trucks with the Jake brakes and Sirens all night long. Perhaps the rooms on the other side of the hotel would have been more scenic, and quieter. There was an exercise room. To our knowledge there was no pool. If there was one, it was not promoted or mentioned to us. "

"Our room was clean and comfortably furnished, and the fireplace in the room was a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Staff were friendly and welcoming, the whole hotel was beautiful, tastefully decorated, and felt very welcoming. The hotel had a great free breakfast and also free nightly snacks of cookies and popcorn available. We especially appreciated how kid-friendly the hotel was, as we were travelling with our young child. There was a nice swing set and several playhouses on the property grounds for kids to play on. The pool was convenient and fun. They had puzzles available to work on together, from 300 pieces and up. Kids ate free at the restaurant on Tuesday, and also got a free toy at the gift shop on the property. The location was nice and a short drive from attractions. We appreciated the hotel compound was surrounded by countryside and very beautiful. It was also convenient with a gift shop, small grocery, restaurant, and theater on the grounds, with the swing set and play houses in the middle of the property. We can't wait to go back again someday!"

"There was plenty of parking all around the hotel, even with a wedding party staying. We took advantage of pool the evening we checked in and the morning we checked out after breakfast. Staff was friendly and everything was relatively clean and nicely in place. My only complaint was the back stairwell. My son has a fear of elevators and we had to use the stairs often and it was absolutely filthy. Like someone tracked mud in regularly. Overall our stay was great and we'd stay again. "

"This cottage is so cute and lovely! Very clean and had all the necessities for a week or a few days stay. I spent a lot of time on the deck by the wooded area of the cottage reading and writing and listening to the birds. There is a small creek too. The cottage had a nice kitchen, living room, bathroom and a bedroom upstairs. I had some issues with the connection with the internet to watch tv at night, but the owner, Karen, was very quick responding and the matter resolved itself. I had a great breakfast at Amish Country Donut & Cafe and bought some sourdough donuts, cinnamon roll, and cookies to bring back home. I had a delicious lunch at Cafe 93 at the Dundee Marketplace and spent over an hour hiking at Dundee Falls at Beach City Trail. The falls were beautiful and it was great hiking and taking in the beautiful scenery. This was a much needed R & R trip. I am so glad I found this cute cottage to stay! "
