「An amazing get away while still being in Auckland. Rachel is a wonderful host, and the bach itself is cozy, comfortable and well worth the drive. It feels like you're a world away from civilization, but a 10-minute drive gets you into the local town. Close to walks and beaches, it is a great spot to do a whole lotta nothing. 「A great place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was very comfortable and well maintained. There was one issue for us - the bed has a wooden frame and base which squeak loudly every time you move in the bed. We used ear plugs the second night. Overall though it was excellent and we would stay again. The owner was very friendly and helpful.」
