Excellent food, very comfortable and spacious rooms, good sea view from no.29. Outside areas well maintained and served. Staff very friendly, courteous and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Only niggle: in mid-September, some menu items were missing.

Another nice stay at the Kingscliff Hotel. Easy check in - with a very helpful Italian lady - friendly and efficient. Parking at the rear of the hotel (included if you are a guest). Enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant. Good selection of food. Hotel room very nice with a good shower. The only negative for me was I arrived back at the hotel after a night out in Frinton at 10:15 and went to the bar for a gin and tonic as a night cap. I was informed by the barman that they had cashed the tills and I couldn't have a drink despite me being a guest. A bit disappointing.

Great location super comfy bed abd hot shower. Unfortunately our sleep was disturbed by guest in room 9 coming in at 4am slamming doors and showering. Then repeating at 7am. All which are not the hotels fault. I have no hesitation in returning

Stayed for 2 nights. Recommend the hotel. Staff are exceptional. The sea is literally across the road, unfortunately our lovely room was at the back, so no sea view, but didn't spoil our stay. Would definitely go back.

Expedia did not relay my original request for a twin-bedded room (we were two elderly ladies) and we were allocated VERY SMALL double bed which was totally unacceptable. Fortunately the hotel were eventually able to arrange a twin-bedded room by splitting a king size bed into two sections and the situation was resolved. BUT it could have spoiled our holiday had a solution not been found (the hotel was fully booked).
