「Owner Angelo kindly showed us in. Interior was dated but decent, if oddly decorated (plastic flowers, an Egyptian pyramid picture). Despite booking a family room for our 15-year-old, we got a cramped room with an awkward layout, a fridge that wouldn’t close, and a wobbly bathroom sink. The shower tray leaked, and the showerhead was mouldy and torn — I cleaned it myself.
After a lovely dinner in town, we returned to find the pool and function room full of partying teenagers, music blaring past...
