"Excellent location. Room very nice indeed. Unfortunately the placement of the AC unit, which was intermittently louder than it should've been, meant that even on low speed air was blasted up my nose all night. This made sleeping very difficult as the AC is obviously non negotiable in the August heat. Did have an issue with communication. Check in was fine but the listing said an iron was available on request. I asked about this on the WhatsApp group they shared with us and nobody answered. That was disappointing. For exploring Perugia, it's incredible."

"I loved this property overall. It was very clean and well maintained, and I had a pleasant stay. However, there are a few things I think future guests should be aware of. I was there for a wedding and needed an iron or steamer to prepare my clothes. When I asked for one, I was told that because it was a guest house, they didn’t provide this service and that I could go a few stores down and buy one. I ended up buying a steamer that I will probably never use again. In my opinion, the property should consider having a few irons or steamers available for guests to borrow. A clean room and clean property are very important, but hospitality is also about helping guests with basic needs, especially when they are visiting a foreign country and may not be familiar with the area. Also, there is no elevator, which can be difficult if you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns. Parking is another issue, it is very difficult and inconvenient, so guests arriving by car should be prepared for that. Overall, I liked the property and appreciated how clean it was, but improving these small conveniences would make the guest experience much better."

"Breakfast looks just like the pictures associated w/ the hotel. It's just an amazing sight. It's hard to choose your meal with this abundance of options. Additionally staff were helpful w/ bus tickets and information. "Old town" is quite a ways up the hill and worth every step. Pleasant gardens are also nearby."

"We stayed at Perugino apartment for the Jazz festival and were delighted with the apartment. Perugino is on the ground floor with two very comfortable bedrooms and lots of space as well as a shady terrace. Guiseppe was very welcoming and helpful with advice. It’s a great location just in a quiet suburb, with a supermarket and bakery in walking distance. There are a number of buses that take you to the city centre in 10 minutes and it’s an easy 25 minute walk back, down hill. The salt water pool was lovely with plenty of sun beds. The kitchen is small but quite well equipped. It was very hot in July - mid 30s - but the apartment stayed reasonably cool if you keep all the shutters closed. The air-con was an additional 140 for the week which we were unaware of so decided to manage without. There were fans in the bedrooms which were needed at night. There was a charge for new towels so maybe bring spares and for the pool."

"Charming Historic hotel with modern amenities, updated bathrooms. Great buffet breakfast included. Very helpful multi-lingual staff, whether giving advice or directions, selling mini-metro transit passes, or storing luggage. Excellent central location within the old walls, near to major piazzas, historic sites, museums, cafes & restaurants. Easy to access hotel from bus station via moving stairs (escalator), near to mini-metro line to get to/from main train station. A great summer stay in a great Umbrian city!"
