"They gave us a room with no air conditioning in the middle of summer, with temperatures over 80 degrees. We initially assumed the AC was out for the entire hotel (since they actually informed us -no AC). Being too tired we tried to go to the room to get some sleep, but it was impossible. The tiny room was unbearably hot, and the window only opened a small sliver at the top.
We went downstairs to figure out what to do, fully expecting we’d need to move to a nearby hotel. Only after raising our voices were we suddenly given a room with air conditioning. Completely unacceptable — if an air‑conditioned room was available, why try to squeeze guests into a stifling room for a miserable night?
Mold on the bathroom wall around the circular window only added to disappointment."
