"Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable with excellent pillows. No bottled water in the room though. Huge bed with slippers and dressing gowns available. Its pet friendly and i got to pet Queenie, the resident cat"

"On arrival the reception, bar and dining room looked really nice. The first room we were given was very disappointing and looked nothing like the image on the website. It was quite small and had very large dark wood furniture. We requested a different room and the second room was much better. We didn’t understand why we had been given an inferior room to the one we had booked. Receptionist was quite abrupt when we asked to be changed but did it. Food in the bar was good and the waiting staff were lovely. Breakfast was really nice."
