We checked in to learn our online reservation had not been received by the hotel. They charged us a higher rate and the room happened to be on the 4th floor of adjacent building. They apologized for the location but the air conditioning wasn't working in the main building.
The room was sparcely furnished. the bed was on some kind of metal box frame, everytime you moved or sat on the bed the metal would "pop" loudly and scare the heck out of me.
Went to shower in the am and the shower control handle looked like a long screw had been inserted for the control. No Hot Water at all! Go to place things in car and the elevator refused to lower to ground level. 4 trips up a dirty, humid, hot stair well to the 4th floor nearly took me to my knees. i'm 65 and only 130 lbs. I'm in good shape but that was ridiculous!
At ck out, Manager only offered a 10% discount. Never again! Breakfast 2 out of 5.
