"Have stayed at this property for a number of years. Always consistent quality, hospitality, and amenities. Very convenient to Colonial Williamsburg. Current construction of 37 new townhomes is not as intrusive as we thought it may be. This is our first stay in the last 6 years and we were surprised by the new parking fee of $20/day+tax. If that was disclosed in advance, it was not clear on Trivago when we made our reservation. Hidden costs diminish customer satisfaction for what has been a superior experience in the past. Current staff as always are very courteous, welcoming, and helpful. Fitness center is well equipped. Clean, comfortable unit met all of our needs."
"We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The grounds were quiet and seemed very safe - we did hear the trains a few times, but with a white-noise speaker and some soft earplugs, it didn't bother us or the dogs at all. If you're looking for a nice place to stay with the pups, close to historical Williamsburg and Busch Gardens, this is a love stay!"
