If you're not prepared, traveling can be a real challenge. But there's no need to hit the panic button just yet. Follow these useful tips for a worry-free start to your time in Mangochi. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- It's easy — first, put in your passport, travel docs, bank cards and medications. Next, you'll want some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A juicy book and a tablet filled with your favorite shows are some fantastic options. If you intend to catch forty winks, a neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also come in handy. Finally, find room for a few toiletry items to ensure you touchdown looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp or pointed objects, like your treasured pocket knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and fireworks, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of a plane are no place for a fashion parade. Layer up with comfortable clothing and choose shoes that are flat, enclosed and easy to take on and off.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to wander around the cabin or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
