La cuisine est super bien équipée en vaisselle pour un grand groupe c’est top! Priscillia et son Mari sont adorable et disponible ! Je recommande fortement ! Nous reviendrons c’est certains ! "Absolutely LOVED our stay. Everything was perfect. We even got upgraded! Room was lovely and clean with a pretty view from the 1st floor (2nd floor in North America). Location was excellent. Our favourite staff was Benedict at the front desk- she was so lovely and friendly. She was a joy to see at the reception. Our other favourite staff was Sammy at the restaurant who was attentive and also hilarious. Our “4 course” dinner was divine. Spoiler alert: you get more than 4 courses. On market day, don’t plan on moving your car. We took a detour that google set for us and it was stressful. The WiFi isn’t fast, but it wasn’t really an issue for us. I would definitely stay here again. I didn’t want to leave."

"Overall the hotel was fine and a very unique stay but the heating was like a tap running all night and did little to heat the large room. It could have been cleaner but it did meet basic standards. No facilities to make drinks in room. The evening meal was nice as was breakfast. The views are amazing, we didn’t use the spa so can’t comment. "

"Location near to Bramtome was good. The hosts were very friendly and helpful couldn't wish for more.Facilities were good and the swimming pool was lovely with great views of the surrounding countryside."

"As a family of 6 adults and 2 children we stayed here for just over a week in August 2025. We were attending a wedding at Chateau de la Couronne in Marthon.The house had everything we needed, the children loved the pool, we had several bbqs and also visited Brantome and St Estephe.The bakery and supermarket in Javelhac (10 mins drive) were more than sufficient for our everyday needs.We had 3 amazingly clear nights and were treated to the best skies Ive seen since visitng the outback in Australia - even 'STEVE' made an appearance.The only thing to note is that it is the 3rd bedroom (with double bed and bunks) that had the very low door, which makes it a bit awkward for adults,but we made it work.Overall we had a fab time and would love to return."

"We had a fabulous 2 week stay at La Maison du Bonheur. We couldn't fault the beautiful property and surroundings. The pool was perfect for the hot weather we experienced. Cathy and her family were great, generous hosts. Getting a tour of their bee hives was a particular highlight! Overall, would highly recommend"

"Very comfortable and friendly family-run hotel, surprisingly quiet given its location. The rooms were clean and well equipped. It has an excellent restaurant, with mainly organic and / or locally sourced produce. It is well worth booking a table for delicious, well-presented food and a good selection of wines, beers and other drinks. Highly recommended."
