「The apartment complex is built with an ancient convent, which is very cool when you first enter. The hallways are clean and quiet, and our room really was spotless, as well as quite large. Even though our room was tight over a busy street, there was virtually no noise coming from the outside. 「This farmhouse feels out in the country but is in walking. Distance of the local village and 15 minutes from Perigueux. We used it as our base to explore the midieval villages and prehistoric cave art of the region. It was perfect for the two of us.」

「Nous avons été déçu de notre gîte. Les alentours sont mal entretenus, l’impression d’abandon. Dans la chambre n°3, le matelas est plus large que le sommier. La cuisine: manque de vaisselle, d’ustensiles de cuisine, de bols pour déjeuner. Des plats rouillés. Pas de vraie cafetière… il faut des dosettes senseo. Manque aspirateur, seau et serpillère pour faire le ménage. Sur la terrasse, les lattes en bois se soulèvent, le salon de jardin est vieillissant, odeur de fosse septique.」

「We had a wonderful time in this beautiful cottage. It was very well equipped with a lovely garden including two areas for outdoor dining and a lawn with sunbeds. The local village had a super boulangerie and the whole area was just beautiful. Our host Francis was very helpful and informative and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay.
