Living Area: The open-concept living room and kitchen offer stunning ocean views through abundant windows, filling the space with natural light. Tall ceilings create a spacious and airy atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day on the beach. Enjoy the comfort of the cozy seating area, including a queen sleeper sofa for additional guests.

Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and ample counter space, ideal for preparing meals and enjoying the scenic surroundings.

Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: King bed with an attached private bathroom and access to a private deck with ocean views. The deck connects seamlessly to the main deck via a walkway.
Bedroom 2: King bed with a shared bathroom (accessible from the hallway).

Bathrooms: Two well-appointed bathrooms, including a private en-suite with dual sinks in the primary bedroom for added convenience.

Beautiful and peaceful location

Sitting on the porch watching and listening to the waves was the highlight of the trip. I highly recommend this location. Communication was excellent from booking, check in, to check out.

The back deck is literally over the ocean…fantastic! Great space for my parents, my spouse and me, and our small dog. Clean, comfortable beds, well stocked. Highly recommend.

Great location

We had a wonderful stay here. The property managers did a great job and were very responsive. The views and proximity to the beach was great. This property is also on a dead end street so it tends to be on the quiet side. The screened in porch was a huge bonus plus all the gates to keep your dog on the balcony worked well. The only issue is that in the master bedroom the AC does not work very well. The rest of the house was ice cold but the master bedroom remained warm - especially at night.

Right on the Ocean

We stayed in a recently renovated house that is literally only steps from the ocean. We were able to watch the surfers and beach walkers and their dogs right from the dining table, back porch or deck. It was wonderful to catch the sunrise each day. Wonderful experience.

Overall great place. Has everything you need. Enjoyed the morning stroll on beach with dogs and coffee. Quiet relaxing setting. Close enough to activity and some of the best food. Place appears to been in rental program for awhile. Needs some TLC, mostly minor stuff. Overall would return!

Celebrated my 62 birthday, my oldest son and his wife’s 15 year anniversary and my youngest son and his fiancé wedding. 5 star +, Perfect location and view. Wedding was on the schooner Pride about a 30 minute drive and right beside the Aquarium. City center, market that has everything, and beverage store within a quick 3-5 minute drive. House is clean., beds comfortable and has amazing covered and open deck. Best of all ocean front with literally steps to the waters edge at high tide! Amazing stay and enjoyed by all!!!!

The location on Folly Beach is perfect. Not near the hub-bub but close enough. The house is ideally almost right on the beach and the screened-in porch is perfect. However, for the price we paid, we expected more out of the kitchen. The appliances had not been replaced with the upgrade and interestingly enough there is not a garbage disposal in the sink. The oven pans were not acceptable so we didn’t use the oven at all. For a dog friendly house, we were surprised the kitchen trash can was open (no lid), there was no outside hose to easily wash off sandy paws and seawater drenched fur (outside shower doesn’t work well for this purpose but we made do) and one of the deck gate latches didn’t work (we had to shove a table against so it wouldn’t open). Overall the house was ok but again we were disappointed at the upgrades for the price we paid.

Property was unkept, inside the house was dirty, broken glass lamps on the side of the bed. The outside of the property was also unkept with the "lawn"/ weeds had not been cut in weeks and there was a cooking grill in the front of the property as well which made the property look like sanford and son. I would never rent this house or recommend to anyone to rent this house again

On the water....really!!

We had previously stayed here two years ago. Right on the ocean. That's the best part of the house. The storms of the past two years have changed - eroded the beach significantly. At high tide the water came up to the second step of the walkway to the beach. Not sure how the first row of houses will survive. Anyway we had a lovely time. The bed squeaks just like last time, the kitchen is large, not well supplied. The office gals were wonderful as I had some small issues. All were resolved in short order. All in all a great vacation.

Wonderful beach house

The location is perfect and we felt like we had a private beach. The house could use some updates and tender loving care: the air vents need to be cleaned, the furniture needs to be replaced, the screens on the deck should also be replaced. Overall, the house is great for a small family’s beach vacation and we enjoyed it!!!

Beautiful Location

While I would love to give this property 5 stars, I simply can not. The location is perfect! During our stay in late March, we lived out on the sun deck as much as we could. It is just beautiful! However, the owners need to give the Sea Cookie some TLC. We tried to open windows so as to not turn on the air conditioner, all of the springs were broken and they wouldn't stay up. The queen mattress is in deplorable condition and needs replaced desperately. The bathtub in the MBR is pulling away from the tub surround. Come on! This is a beach front property that folks are paying top dollar for...let's put some money back into it. This was our first visit to Folly Beach and we loved the area. The vibe was so cool and eclectic and the restaurants were top notch! However, the Sea Cookie left us a bit disappointed in our accommodations.
